Nice view and stay overall.

The view was very nice and the staff were nice. Cleanliness and comfortable bed. Safe area.

The rooms are not wall proof and you can hear people walking in the hallway or people opening their doors. The parking structure and entrance can get crazy when it’s crowd which can be inconvenient.

Watch out for useless destination fee.

Location was great.

Destination fees should be banned. Booking should include this price up front. This stupid useless fee made my wife very mad. I wont return to this hotel for this reason. I have never stayed at a hotel this this type of fee again.

It was okay

The view of the city.

The parking fee. The resort fee, we didn't use the amenities. I pulled up to the front and was rushed by the valet team that I could not park there. They told me to park in the garage and then unload. The prices for food was very expensive.

We had a very nice view of San Diego Bay & Coronado. Location to Seaport Village, the ferry, USS Midway and the transit. Quiet room and comfy bed; friendly/helpful staff!

Wish there was a shuttle to/from airport and/or SD would finally get light rail to go from the airport! (Parking convenient but pricey (but all cities seems to be).

Good, but watch for extra fees

The Mariott Hotel is located in front of the marina, close to the train station, allowing easy access from the airport, old town, and city center with plenty of restaurants and activities in the vicinity. You can enjoy a long walk on the marina and night out in the city with plenty of bars and restaurants. The room at the hotel is big, clean with a great view of the marina. The breakfast is great with plenty of options to choose from, served at one of the restaurants in the hotel.

Extra fees added to room such as internet, riding bike and canyoning, but unfortunately, you have to collect card with code from reception & book in advance these activities with 3rd party vendor. These extra charges feel out of the world for such high establishment.

The rooms were pricey but beautiful location and great service!

The staff was extremely friendly from check in to restaurants, Agave staff was very friendly and helpful especially the bar tender on 12/07/2025 made us feel welcome. The grounds and location are perfect very well maintained and welcoming.

The only thing that could have been better was the size of the room not to bad just a little small. The view was incredible of the bay. The rooms were nice and quiet, A/C worked well and comfortable.

The place is big and comfortable, and they offer good food options. The buffet was great, and the croissants were especially good. I enjoyed the food overall, and it felt worth it. The staff was also very friendly and helpful

The only downside of our stay was the check-out process. We spent more than two hours at the front desk trying to sort out issues with our reservation. Since we booked through Booking, it seemed to create a lot of confusion. We had two double rooms included in our reservation, but they said we needed to pay for an extra room, plus additional charges for breakfast and taxes/tourism fee (45$/day)that were already marked as included. There was also a daily $25 credit that was supposed to be covered, but at checkout each room still showed almost $700 in extra charges. Even though we showed proof that everything was already paid, it took a long time to get it sorted out. In the end, the manager was very kind and understanding, and she did her best to fix the situation. They confirmed everything was paid, and she even added some points to my Marriott account, which I appreciated. But the whole process was stressful and took much longer than it should have.

Staff was kind, helpful, overall amazing. I've stayed at this location multiple times.

Well my room got flooded when I was sleeping, it was pretty rough but I don't blame the staff for something so Incidental. Only thing I could say that there was room for improvement would be giving a heads up on an estimated cleanup time. I've got a sleep hygiene related disability (which they were not aware of). If I knew it would take so long I would have taken the room change immediately when it was offered. In the end they still did great and got me in a room quickly after I requested after initially declining.

The smell at front entrance was off putting. Every time we walk to the front door it smelled like sewage. I also feel like for the price we should've had complementary water bottles, make up wipe, and Q-tips in the bathroom is always appreciated… and a shuttle from the airport.

It was good until they told me that they changed 75 for car it is not about money it is about lie

When I reserved the hotel it says that the price includes all taxes and fees, but hotel charged me $75 for parking and $55 for self-parking. This is not acceptable in different hotels, when they say that taxes and other fees are included, everything is in the total price.it is better to do the same, customers will not be surprised . It’s not ok.

We found a lack of service from the time we entered the property. We chose to self park; however, we found it difficult to find a parking space. The spaces were small and tight. When we checked in, no one offered to help us with our luggage. Our room was nice, but no amenities were offered like shower caps or body lotion. Upon arrival to our room we found a small card informing us that we were being charged an extra 45 dollars a day, which turned out to be 55 dollars, once all the ?taxes? were added. Why wasn't this 55 dollars included in the room rate, instead of catching guests off guard that they were going to pay more for their room? With tip, we paid about $50 for 2 regular margaritas. Buffet breakfast is $90 for 2 people. We have done a lot of traveling and for the price we paid, we should have had a wonderful experience with excellent service.

They gave me a room with enclosed balcony where only one person could sit even though I booked a balcony room with a functional full balcony. Had to call down and wait but they did fix it. Just frustrating. Check in took a long time Shower isn’t great. No robes, no glasses only paper cups. The amenities is not what you would expect from a Marquis

Great property…hire people to work it!

Pool and outdoor areas with games and seating.

No service by the pool. No one taking orders for food and drinks. Pool was a bit dirty and cleanup of neighboring tables and chairs didn’t happen quickly so all the napkins were falling into the pool and it just looks messy in a beautiful space. Line to check in was ridiculously long but 4 members were working super fast to get people quickly checked in. The hotel restaurant was not good at all. The food was below average in taste. We asked for a crib and never got it after 3 calls. The baby just slept in the bed with us. The hallways smell like urine! The carpet needs care! It stinks.

Seemed to be disorganized for how many people were there on a holiday. They need to do a better job of handling the crowded spaces. We waited 30 minutes to check in, and there was even a line at the elevator! The breakfast buffet needed direction, which was lacking, took forever to wait for eggs!
