DoubleTree by Hilton Tinton Falls-Eatontown

The location is central and good and beds are comfy- some rooms have nicer roomier bathrooms and some have small ones - but all the other items are just so so

The second elevator in the middle of the building has been broken for the last three times we’ve stayed there with no site of it getting fixed. This is ridiculous as the hotel is booked often and should definitely have that option. It is a long walk from the opposite side of the building. In addition, many of the bathrooms that are older are very small. Only some rooms have nice roomy bathrooms. None of the refrigerators work well they don’t let the items get cold or freeze them They should definitely have discounts for people who stay there frequently, and we have never been offered or an upgrade

Clean, modern room. Elevator. Warm cookies upon arrival.

Did not provide many towels. Rooms were a bit noisy at night with busy street below. Small outdoor only pool.

Easy location. Rooms were fully functional and attractive. High standards of cleanliness. Easy to park. We came during a lower occupancy time in the middle of the week.

The room was decent sized and clean. The 3rd shift front desk woman was kind and helpful.

The couch in our suite was downright uncomfortable. The fridge was empty (no mini bar). The smell in the hallway was very bad, and when I followed my nose to the ice room next to our room, it smelled like a rotting corpse was in there... literally the distinct smell of rotting meat and bacteria. I had to complain twice before our room was moved. The café/lounge menu was very small and the medicore food took a very long time to come out. The front desk guy Brian gave me the creeps. Overall, me and my girlfriend felt dissatisfied and agreed we would NOT be coming back.
