Holiday Inn Club Vacations Sunset Cove Resort

Very well maintained property, clean and stylish. Brooke, the front desk lady is awesome and very helpful. Location is walking distance to many shops and restaurants and shuttle bus to beaches and back is a big plus.

We enjoyed the laidback atmosphere. The free use of the bikes was a big hit as well as the beach chairs. The $10 charge for the umbrellas was not explained to us until after the fact, but it was OK. The pool was great and offered enough space for all of the guests. We loved the game room with the ping pong table. The shuttle service was useful and did save some money on parking. The location was excellent, walking distance to parks, coffee, ice cream, shops. The front desk staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The first staff member that greeted us was Dudley, he was top notch. We enjoyed them quite a bit. Our room was very nice, updated and clean. Lots of space for everyone. We really enjoyed our view, the screened in Lanai was wonderful.

As a family and familiar with a full kitchen, we like to cook in. The grills need to be replaced. All 3 of them were tried and none of them were working well enough to cook our steaks and discouraged us from grilling again, which was a big disappointment. The kitchen utensils were OK, it is what you expect from this type of property, but they could be updated a bit. One of the shuttle drivers, Steve, was less than welcoming. He is our biggest complaint and not just by us. On our second shuttle ride with a different driver, Kerry, who was amazing, we had other families on the bus that said the same thing. Steve would not bother to drive the extra time for an easier walk to the beach, did not offer the suggestions that Kerry and others did, and Steve made us feel uncomfortable. At least one room service for a light cleaning of sand, etc. would have been nice. We feel like we had to do a lot of "maid service" taking out all of the trash, sweeping and cleaning, towel clean up, etc.

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into our apartment. The property was fully equipped, with large bedrooms and lovely bathrooms. We truly felt at home and would definitely come back. Fishing just outside the hotel was great—we caught lots of puffer fish (though they do need to be handled with care!). The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Loved everything

The place was lovely. Close to the ocean and we love the decorations and furnitures.

Some door locks are broken. Bathtub in the master weren't filling water because the knob was broken. We saw cockroach's crawling on the wall but it didnt really bother us.
