Fantastic location within a block of the Sanger Theatre. We visited New Orleans specifically to see the Phantom of the opera and stayed at the Roosevelt hotel during our visit. Everything was fantastic, including the staff and the restaurants.

The Roosevelt’s excellent location, amenities, staff, history and beautiful structure are a standout. With our having a longer stay, it was a plus that they offer several larger room types with the bedroom separate from the living area. Makes for a more comfortable stay.

The Pool staff were amazing!! The Hotel overall has a very nice vibe!
Although we stated it was my birthday there wasn’t any welcome message or anything to personalize our stay. There was a room on our floor that sounded like had a party with lot of noise and yelling at 2-3am.

My wife and I love the building. The decorations, the staff, the location and on site options for eating.
My room was hot, had to sit in the chair in front of the window to get some cool air flow, the TV had nothing to watch and couldn't stream from phone or sign into personal Netflix. We watched movies on my tablet until we could fall asleep. Lots of very nice hotels all around for 100s of dollars less. We've stayed at the roosevelt the last 2 times we visited the city. We'll try the sonesta next time.
