Disappointing

When we booked it said it was a double room and we showed up to just a king bed. The noise from the freeway was extremely loud making it really hard to sleep. There were spiders near the entryway and in the hallway.

Did the job, but most likely not again

The location was near Shoreline Amphitheatre and downtown San Jose; that is why I picked this particular spot. The room was great for my family (2 parents + 2 teenagers). I loved how it was a larger-than-normal sized room with a sink OUTSIDE of the bathroom (for those with kids IYKYK) as well as a fridge, lots of places to put luggage, etc. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. I appreciated the free, spacious parking and the free breakfast. It was very nice for the price.

We had a difficult time finding the main lobby doors to check-in. For being a funky-shaped space, I figured more signage would have been nice. When we did manage to check in, the staff was unapproachable and unwelcoming - almost made it seem like we were bothering them. Later that evening we tried to find the ice machine (again, no signage) and when I asked the front desk about where it was, he didn't even look up from what it was he was doing to answer my question. The next morning, we went to breakfast (it was NOT good in the slightest and on top of that the pancake machine ran out, the toaster sparked, and the orange juice was orange-colored water) and during that timeframe our room keys were inactivated for some reason...? We had to go back to the front desk twice to re-program our keys and they still didn't work. The staff member was so annoyed that he had to come up and let us into our room - when we still had a ways until check-out time! I was not looking for a massive, over-the-top customer service experience, but anything other than we were bothering them would have been nice.

It was close to the Shoreline Amphitheatre Nice rooms , breakfast included . Clean and just a friendly place to relax.

Booked 4 rooms for my Girl Scout troop following a long day at Great America. Check in was quick. Rooms were clean. Breakfast the next morning was good and they made sure to continously stock the items as they went out of stock

Nice location in the heart of good ole Silicon Valley, and downtown MT. View less than 5 minutes!!

Philipe at the front desk was very hospitable, Loved location, price, weekend location. Bay area should be proud when the renovation is completed. If the rates stay the same when the renovations are done this is the place to stay. The rooms were fantastic roomy, comfortable beds, and so close to the freeway with the freeway noise. Like I say Philipe was very pleasant, which makes the stay that much better, and a nice lil taqueria in a pleasant store 2 doors down, so convenient.

Nice hotel, bad location for us

Staff was very nice and accommodating, room was nice, I could tell it was new, the bed was so comfortable if I could have taken it home I would have.

Didn't care for the sink area not being part of the bathroom, the hotel itself had no vending machines open and it was too far to get anything to eat that we could find anyway, the only two restaurants close by looked iffy.. They could have been ok but we didn't try either of them.

Because i asked for a room that is far away from the nearby highway, my room was at the corner of the building, and the wifi signal was not strong at the study desk for my phone but was okay at the door.
