    Amtrak cancelled my train two days prior to arriving. I immediately reached out to the hotel to explain that I wouldn't be arriving for my reservation and the reason why. Hotel wouldn't change dates nor cancel. Said it was a booking.com restriction. Called booking.com, they claimed it wasn't their policy, it was hotel. Booking.com calls hotel, hotel says customer should call back. I call back, hotel confirms booking.com reached out requesting date change but the front desk manager declined my request. Charged me roughly 35% of my three nights stay. Of course I also lost money on my show tickets. My first planned trip to the Big Apple. Not thinking I'll try again.

    Perfect location; small but clean rooms; very helpful and professional reception staff. I would definitely book this hotel again next time I visit NYC.

    The only advantage this hotel has is its proximity to Times Square and the theaters along 49th St. But there are other hotels in midtown with bigger rooms, better offerings (with breakfast for the same price and daily cleaning service), and nicer surroundings.
