Stayed for two days for halloweekend. Exceptional service.

I liked how kind the staff was and how available they were. I also liked the breakfast and the other guests.

Some items during breakfast hours were missing plus biscuits were hard....everything else was good.

The room with all amenities, from microwave to fridge, queen size bed.

The location away from shopping center. It's not near to Walmart, BestBuy, and the Holiday inn doesn't have shuttle. There are no shops nearby. Breakfast was okay. I had to rent taxi every day to Walmart and other shopping stores.

Everything. Room had no towels. When we asked for some, they only had a few. Not enough for all occupants. Bathroom toilet had a loose seat. The shower faucet was loose.

Worked well for us, we'd stay there again.

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived a bit early but were able to check in anyway. We requested a late check out and they gave us the lastest option available which helped us out a lot. The room was as expected with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed for our kids. All were comfortable for us.

There was a bit of a mustyness unless you kept the room a bit on the cold side. It was humid weather during our stay so that may have been part of it. The toilet did not flush well so it required several flushes to get the job done.

The location is close to downtown, but not in a crowded area. (Not too many people or too much traffic) It’s close to shops and fun, plus there’s a great walking trail 1/4 mile from there.

I felt unsafe and checked out.

The property was fine.

It was in a very unsafe area. There was gang graffiti in the parking lot and signs that they were not responsible for stolen cars or damage to property. There were homeless people in the area.

Sleeping on the 290 service road

Parking

Our reservation on booking specified a Suite with view to the swimming pool. During check- in we were informed that the hotel does not have such a room at all,, the only suite of this hotel has a view to the highway 290 where all night long the traffic passes just 30 meters below your window You feel like sleeping on the 290 service road incluiding noise, vibrations, everything.... and this for 244,81 USD for two persons.... never again.

Not my best stay.

It was quiet and a convenient location.

The room was extremely hot. The thermostat was not working at all. There was no way to control the temperature in the room since it was broken on the wall. I ended up not sleeping that night since the room was so humid and hot.

This Holiday Inn in Austin was showing its age!

The breakfast was OK. The cinnamon rolls were delicious.

The location was awkward. There was a one-way street that I didn’t care for next to the property. Even though I had booked a regular room, they put me in a handicap room which was not as comfortable.

Great breakfast. Clean. You need to ask for maid service if you want it but that wasn't a problem and they had an abundance of clean towels when we asked. Loved the 12pm check out time.

Check-in was quick. I hate when you make a reservation and it takes more than 5 min to check in. The lady checking me in was helpful and efficient and nice. Thanks! Checkout was easy too. Room seemed very clean and the mattresses were just fine.

We reserved a room for five people. But we only got three towels. Went to the front desk to ask for an additional two towels. They didn't provide any additional towels and seemed like they didn't care. Seems kind of odd to not have enough towels for the number of people on the reservation. Shared bathroom for five people on the reservation made for a very steamy bathroom. Seems odd there isn't a ventilation fan. Additionally some of the bathroom repairs seemed a little bit of a hack.

The renovation are beautiful. The hotel is located right off the highway make it super easy to commute. Downtown is only about 10-15 minutes away. This hotel is a nice location and I will definitely be using them on my next trip to Austin.
