We enjoyed our stay, the cottage is well equipped and we were very comfortable. The cottage is situated down a single track road and we had views of the sea. We visited lots of beaches including our two dogs who enjoyed long walks. Everywhere was very dog friendly. We went on a boat trip, visited a Bug Farm and did crab fishing. There’s lots for everyone to do. We had good communication with our host and instructions were helpful. Thankyou

Lovel old cottage with all necessary amenities, amazing views and secluded gardens. Good base for anywhere around St Davids or Fishguard. Direct footpath to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from the front door.

Comfortable with a quiet location.
A fairly old property which wasn’t easy to keep clean.
We all enjoyed our stay in a relaxed location.
Not the safest property for our Golden Retriever but he can be a bit of a Houdini.

Lovely cottage in great location. We enjoyed the outdoor space plus the 10 minute walk down to the sea, look out for dolphins!

The cottage was lovely, with fantastic gardens with views of the sunset over the sea. The cottage is old, stone built construction, so expect a little dampness, particularly given it’s proximity to the salty sea air. This wasn’t an issue for us but a little more storage for clothes would be useful.
The track leading down to the cottage is very narrow so be careful if you have a large or wide car.
If you are into walking like us then the location is great. Just a 10 minute walk down the track that leads from the driveway takes you straight to the local cove and up onto the coastal path. The coastal path is stunning and well worth the effort to venture along.
All in all we had a fabulous two weeks holiday in the cottage and on the Pembrokeshire coast.

A characterful and spacious cottage, very picturesque, with a very pretty garden with sea views, close to the dramatic and beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline. The cottage is well-equipped. Online information about keys needs to be updated.

Amazing holiday
Amazing holiday
The Cottage is stunning , inside and out, the cottage is very well equipped with everything needed and more . The lounge has a real fire and a cupboard full of games. Waking up to the beautiful sea view everyday was priceless. The Cottage has the most beautiful garden, its huge with lots of areas to hide and sit in. The location is great, you do have to drive to get to places but that was fine as we managed to see lots of the area.
We couldn't of asked for a better holiday.

Really wonderful cottage
Really wonderful cottage
Lovely cottage, really well kitted out, especially in the kitchen, it had everything we needed and more. Lovely living room with a real fire, comfy armchairs (and sofa) and beautiful throws to stay toasty (we were there in September). Excellent big main bathroom with good shower and huge bath! Beautiful quiet setting with sea views and a lovely garden full of birds. Very good location to explore North up to Fishguard, etc. And south to st David's and Solva. Highly recommend!

Happy memories of our stay in Trefin! The cottage exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and provided a perfect base for days out. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place to stay in Pembrokeshire
Lovely place to stay in Pembrokeshire
We had a lovely stay. The house was great, with a magical labyrinth of gardens that the children really enjoyed. The views of the sea were lovely, with great sunsets. Inside was spacious. It rained heavily one day and the provided de-humidifiers were useful.
The road that approaches is quite narrow, but the ASDA delivery van still made it!
The surrounding area is amazing with so much to do: beaches, walking on the coastal path, neolithic sites, a hill-top reconstructed iron-age fort, a working wool mill and cafe, the cathedral at St David's, not to mention the things we didn't have time to do (like the boat trips).
Well worth the long drive from London and would definately come again.

Quaint cottage off the beaten track
Quaint cottage off the beaten track
The welshcakes and milk provided on arrival were a friendly touch. The information provided about the amenities in the cottage and the location were accurate. The cottage was very comfortable and the new bathroom was amazing. The mature gardens were very pretty. The check in process was a little confusing having been told the key would be in a certain place when actually it was in the key store. And similarly the checkout time was supposed to be 10.30am but the cleaners were outside waiting to enter by 10.10am. Overall though a relaxing holiday in a beautiful area.

Delightful traditional cottage with lovely large gardens.
We loved it.
Traditional cottage with modern kitchen and bathroom extension. Lots of character, spacious and well equipped.
The gardens provide many places to sit in peace and admire the view or watch the birds come and go.
Handy for St Davids and Fishguard, but the car access to the cottage is tricky until you get used to it.

The cottage is well located, close to the coastal path and equipped for 6 people. However, it needs better maintenance and cleaning:Half way through our week, the handle came off the oven door and the on/off switch on the kettle broke. The manager replaced the kettle, and did provide a small refund, but we were left without an oven. The bath is unusable since only a tiny trickle of water comes out of the hot tap.Skirting boards and floors were dirty and, on arrival, we had to move several damp, sandy wetsuits and wetboots from the wardrobe in order to hang our clothes. We left the cottage cleaner than we found it.

Lovely area and location but damp cottage
Lovely area and location but damp cottage
We loved the area and location. The cottage was very well stocked and comfortable and we generally enjoyed our stay. However the cottage was damp, we had to light a fire every evening to get rid of the damp smell and the de-humidifiers had to be on all the time. We asked if the garden was fully secure for our dog which it clearly wasn't as there was no gate on the entrance of the drive. Also it was very inconvenient having to take away our rubbish to the tip during the holiday, especially on the last day with a car packed full.

A wonderful family holiday
A wonderful family holiday
The cottage was adorable with its flowered garden and view of the sea in the distance. It was a good size for us, cosy and a nice layout. Having two teenage girls with us, a long mirror would have come in handy. The cottage would benefit from some new carpets and furnishing to make it even more desirable, and the main bathroom would have been more comfortable if it was newer. It's just that the cottage had a slightly damp feel and smell about it and the humidifiers weren't enough to combat that. The bed in the room off the sitting room was very uncomfortable but the other beds were fine and the pillows were all nice and new. The men of the family would have liked a bigger tv to watch the cricket on, a home from home comfort. Those changes would see us coming back again.
The location was stunning, on the first afternoon when we went out to explore and followed the path down to the cove, we thought it was the best choice we could have made when booking our holiday. The beaches we travelled to were outstanding and we had the best week, with memories to treasure.

Pembrokeshire Get Away
Pembrokeshire Get Away
We had a brilliantly relaxing week stay at Carole's cottage.
The cottage had everything we could possibly need for our duration, and after many long cliff top walks, it was wonderfully to return to a lovely log fire followed by really comfortable beds.
The cottage was all we hoped for, clean, comfortable and with a wonderful view from the garden, perfect for a late evening drink while watching the sun go down.
Our friends joined us for the first half of the week, and there was plenty of room for us all.
An ideal base for visiting all the small towns and villages in the area.
I would recommend a stay here for anyone.
Thank you Carole

Relaxation at its best
Relaxation at its best
Super, quiet cottage which is well appointed, and with lovely gardens to relax in, with views to the sea. Overcome your worries about the narrow farm lane approach to the cottage - the arrival is well worth it! We had glorious weather for most of our stay (yes most - well this is Wales!), and the bees in the garden never stopped working. Trefin village is a short walk down a track, or an easy drive. Attractions include the secluded beach, and the Ship Inn, where we had a very good, and reasonably priced steak meal. If you like walking, the Pembrokeshire coast path should satisfy the nature lovers, with good sea views and wonderful countryside. St. David's and Fishguard are within easy reach, and the dolphin watching trip from New Quay was a highlight. All in all, a great week.

Beautiful, peaceful and the best equipped cottage
Beautiful, peaceful and the best equipped cottage
This is an amazing cottage and yes, the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in - we even managed to bake a cake. The views from the sun room are gorgeous and it is ideally situated for walks along the Pembrokeshire coast and exploring the area more generally. I would totally recommend it and would definitely go again. We were welcomed with toffee waffles and milk in the fridge (a nice touch) and all the key basics (tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc) were there. To give you an idea of space - we are a family of four ( 2 adults and 2 older children) and had friends stay over for Easter Sunday and it worked perfectly. Thanks for a great stay!

Just great!
Just great!
We were accommodated with our 5 members family (2 bigger and 1 small child) for 2 weeks. And our impression? The best cottage, which we have had so far. A perfect place if you search for a cozy and original accommodation (not suitable for people expecting a new and sterile building). The cottage is very spacious and would be big enough for at least another 2 people. It is very well equipped and as we were not only lucky with the weather, we really appreciated the washing machine combined with a dryer. There are all needed dishes in the kitchen and we were pleasantly surprised by availability of all kinds of basic ingrediences: salt, spices, oil, sugar, meal, tee, koffie etc. The property was clean and is very comfortable, there is a large and really beautiful garden there (there is even a small herbs garden in front of the kitchen window), the view is great. Maps and ideas for activities in the surroundings are available. Walks to the sea can be done directly from the Cottage, the coast is fantastic. Communication with the owner was very good. For shopping (food) we would recommend to visit Aldi in Haverfordwest during your trips (perfect choice and distinctly lower prices in comparison with shops in the closest surroundings).

Extremely peaceful, comfortable cottage.
Extremely peaceful, comfortable cottage.
Have come away feeling very rested - so peaceful, could only hear birds and bees! The cottage was well equipped, clean, tidy and comfortable and a delight to stay in. The owners obviously love their cottage. Loved the home made soft furnishings. The gardens were beautiful and there is much more to them than the description suggests. The sun room was our favourite place to sit. The only downfall might be that if a double bed is needed, it is in the sun room, meaning that it cannot be used to sit in. However, the lounge is beautiful too. Being able to walk 15 mins down a country path to the bay was a treat. St. David's, Skoma and the Whitesands Beach are all within 20min drive. Thank you for lending out this lovely place.

A fabulous spacious cottage in a peaceful haven tucked away in the green countryside but only 15 minutes walk down a green lane to the little bay of Aberfelin and the village of Trevine. The cottage is so cosy and tranquil , I immediately felt at home and loved all the beautiful soft furnishings , it is so well equipped with more than anyone could need . A clean and well maintained place ,with good service and communication from the owner. The little extra welcome pack of milk and welsh cakes were great and much appreciated.Watched some super sunsets from the sun room with views over the distant sea. I would recommend this little haven to anyone wanting a quiet ,relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting .
