The location and view are great. The room was very nice and comfortable. It was nice to have a full kitchen. The coffee is very good. There seemed to be plenty of parking. They are pet friendly.
There is extensive construction going on and the parking lot and back lawns are a mess. The restaurant is lovely but the food is not excellent. There are better choices in town.

Upon hearing that the hotel was under renovation, I asked, upon arrival, for an upgrade (that I paid for) so that we had a lake view away from reno works. Kayleigh, at Reception, was excellent and was able to accommodate my request. Good work, Kayleigh!
was glad our schedules didn't coincide with workers and their noise.
We did hear noise by 8am but we were on our way out by then. But renovations are important and we understand this has to happen.

My room assignment matched my wishes exactly. The newly remodeled room and hallway are very nice. The earth-tone colors and lighting are sharp. The new shower and bathroom facilities are nicely done. The new bath ventilation fan does the job. The new open cabinet furniture is very sharp. The new carpet and wall patterns are pleasing. The new Keurig coffee maker is a hit! All in all, it is nicely done.
Paying a premium room rate, like other hotels in the area, to stay in a hotel when you hear loud hammering and power equipment banging at 7:00 a.m. in the morning and after 5:00 p.m. in the evening. There should be a "Pardon Our Renovation" discount room rate offered during the construction period. Also, for stays three nights and longer the breakfast buffet should be
included in your room rate.
