As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel's facilities are somewhat dated. If modern amenities are a priority for you, this hotel might not be the best choice, as it could lead to a negative review. While I did find the facilities to be old, I was impressed by the cleanliness and the kindness of all the staff. Its location is ideal, being just a 3-minute walk from both the lake and the main street. Furthermore, the nightly rate is more affordable compared to other hotels. I truly enjoyed my weekend stay here and would certainly return in the future. My only suggestion would be to provide hair dryers in the rooms.

We stayed in a room that was a half staircase into another staircase off the 1st floor. Not only did we hear constant foottraffic from right outside our door all night, we heard patterned footsteps above us starting at 5AM every morning indicating the room is underneath an Inn utility room. Could not sleep. Grateful i made it through a 6 hour drive back home. unbelievable.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience during my recent stay at The Pines Inn. We arrived at the hotel around 10:00 p.m. after a six-hour drive, only to find that our room had no curtains. The windows directly faced the parking lot and the main road, leaving us with no privacy.
Since no one was available at the front desk, I called the contact number provided. The staff member who answered advised us to use bedding and drapes to cover the windows, as she was unable to move us to another room. This was both inconvenient and unacceptable.
Additionally, the room was missing basic amenities such as shampoo and soap, so we were unable to take a shower.
In the morning, I requested a call from the manager to discuss the situation, but as of now—after 8:00 p.m.—I have yet to receive any response.
This experience was extremely disappointing and stressful, especially after a long journey. I would expect management to take this matter seriously.
