Front desk supervisor it’s not accommodating or nice

The manager front desk supervisor was late to work, and I had talked with the night auditor and also talked with the front desk personnel in the morning, but they couldn’t answer my question because I need to speak to the supervisor for authorization when I came in later in the day he rejected me needing to check out a day early

It was nice to be so close to the CLD airport

The staff was fantastic, helpful, kind and happy to answer any questions! It was also and easy walk from the Carlsbad airport and the location was top notch!

My room was very basic and loud. I could hear every step of the people above me, every voice from the people next to me.

Hot or warm water in the sink would have been nice, but all we could get was a trickle of cool water. The place was half furnished. AND the elevator was not working. Only a sorry sign with no info about getting to the first floor.

Really nice. What you expect from a Courtyard Marriott in a business area: clean, convenient, not that expensive, but don’t expect that much options to do around. Its basically to spend the night at a confortable hotel with good reputation.

A wonderful mini vacation with a beautiful view.

I thought the staff was amazing since we walked through the entrance door. Answering and addressing our concerns. Definitely will return again.

The only thing that was annoying but understood. The room was next to the pool and the noise from the teenagers was very loud late at night. After 10pm it did stop, so not a big issue.

HORRIBLE BECAUSE OF THE PRICE!!!!!

I was visiting friends and WAS GETTING LATE, so I decided to stay a in the Carlsbad area and stopped in to see if there was any availability. I stayed in the same hotel a few weeks ago for 3 days an my total bill was around 600-700 dollars. I was given a rate of $500 for one night stay!!!!! THIS IS ABSLOUTELY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLES SITUATION AND GOUGING SOMEONE!!!!!

Very nice pool and garden for the money!

I booked two nighs at this hotel mostly to relax at the pool after a conference. Breakfast ends at 9:30 which I realietzed at 930. This is too early IMO. To get a decent coffee and a sandwich I had to get a ride to the closest coffee place ($10). The whole journey including coffee and breakfast cost me $40 then. This took away a lot of time from me being at the pool. Once I got to the pool, relaxed for an hour and fell asleep two people - one with a mower, one with a blower - came to deal with the greenery and made incredible noise in the courtyard - just around about 1 pm. Why do these people not do that work when no one is at the pool like when its in shadow later afternoon!!?? So my one full day at the hotel was severly compromised.

Ceiling in 2nd floor room was dripping water onto the bed soaked through to the mattress. Fortunately we were able to change to another room which was smaller than the one we had. I also didn’t like the motel 6 style sink for the bathroom, it was hard to spread out for 2 people. One night here was enough for us.

Clean room, wonderful bed and linens, great location, excellent air conditioning unit. Miguel was very helpful in getting my luggage to my car--thank you! Wish I had known to ask for helping in getting it to the room at the beginning of my stay.

The steps leading to the hotel from two parking areas are very uneven and the handrail does not go all the way down to all of the stairs, making it dangerous for someone with mobility and balance issues. I called ahead and asked for a room that would be easy to access, but was given one by these uneven stairs. If I had a room on the other side of the hotel I could have entered and exited much more easily. The overhead light in the bathroom goes on automatically via a sensor. I very much disliked this feature! It is glaringly bright in the middle of the night, and one night came on without me moving several times, scaring me and disturbing my sleep. Awful! A simple nightlight would suffice.

Second Chances

We decided to give this hotel a second chance and we don’t regret it. Staff was very nice and kind. The room was very cozy and clean. Beds were very confortable.

Good value and nice accommodation

Staff was friendly and attentive to requests. Place was well located and there are a lot of nearby restaurants. Pool was very clean. Room was spacious and clean. Probably one of the better Courtyards That I have stayed in.

A little ways of from the beach. The towels seemed to be a little. Low, but the front desk gave us more. There is no thatching else I can think of,

Omg! Omg! I have no negative words! I'm so picky when it comes to hotels I like clean clean clean! This hotel is beautiful! Everything!! our room was so bomb! When I say clean I mean clean I didn't see anything wrong and believe me I was looking for something couldn't find anything to complain about! The bed! That soft big comfortable king size bed I couldn't even get up! I mean I slept so good! The staff is very nice I loved everything! It's pet friendly I didn't see not 1 dog and the lobby has no stinky smell it's just great! The rate is very good because the rooms are beautiful we stayed on the first floor and I have no complaints at all!! I'm coming back and this is where we will be! Our room had a nice patio and when you open the door the first thing you is beautiful yellow flowers!!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say!
