    The hotel’s location is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would not stay again due to the state of the hotel room: both the sink and tub drain were clogged and filled the basins when used. The comforter was threadbare from use. The paint had not been maintained, making the room look beat up, especially in the bathroom.

    The location of this hotel couldn't have be n better - down at the end of the strip and away from the crowds! 5 minute walk to the beach, Aquarium, and Honolulu Zoo. Numerous bus lines picked up just across the street. And pretty much everything I wanted to see here in Waikiki was a 20-30 minute walk (I didn't use any transit while I was here.). The only thing I did use transit for was a couple of the toys I took - an island tour, Diamondhead, and Pearl Harbor. The only ding I would give the hotel - there was no early check-in (I travelled 18 hours to get here then had to sit and wait until 3:00pm for the normal check-in time) and no late check-out ( my flight leaves at 9:45pm and I have to check out at 11:00am )

    Although the other staff members were friendly, overall the service was very disappointing. None of my requests were accommodated. In particular, one concierge staff member gave extremely poor customer service. When I asked for a restaurant or pub recommendation around 9 p.m., he simply told me to go to “Denny’s” or “ABC Store” while playing on his phone. In reality, just one block toward Waikiki Beach, there were pubs open until midnight and even a burger place right next door….
