Enjoyed beach front property. Go down to the lobby and you’re at the beach. Steak shack, shaved ice and açaí stands on sight. Outrigger next door where ABC store is located. This is a hidden gem.!🌈

We stayed a couple nights and watched the fire works Friday night. It's a nice clean hotel. The main difference is that it is more of a "vacation rental" than a serviced hotel. No room cleaning during stay, wash your own linen and towels in your room. for a short stay, perfect! We booked a double room and ended up with 2 twin beds but it worked out well.

I booked a studio at Castle Waikīkī Shores because of the attractive price and excellent location. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. At the time of booking, I paid a non-refundable surcharge of approximately *** for one studio unit. Because the reservation was non-refundable, I felt locked into the reservation. Upon arrival, I was then required to pay more than an additional *** in hotel fees. The amount apparently varies depending on the unit size, but this significant expense was not clear to me when I booked. To make matters worse, the unit itself was very dated and did not reflect the price I ended up paying. The furnishings, décor, and overall condition felt old and worn, and the accommodations simply did not provide the value I expected for the total cost. I contacted Agoda, the hotel's customer service department, and even my credit card company in an attempt to resolve the issue, but no one was willing or able to help. Afterward, I discovered that many other guests had reported similar experiences. I only wish I had seen those reviews before making my reservation. The location is excellent, but travelers should carefully review all fees and read recent guest reviews before booking. A room that appears reasonably priced may ultimately cost far more than expected, and because the reservation was non-refundable, there was little I could do once I arrived. I am sharing this experience to help other travelers avoid unpleasant surprises and make a fully informed decision.
