Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head

We were on the 12th floor with a stunning view facing Diamond head and the beach. It was much quieter on that side of the island but that also meant Uber and other transportation took more time and money to access. The staff was friendly and informative. For the price of the room, they should offer more amenities. The complementary soaps were high quality and the way they welcome you to the hotel is very special.

The elevator was out of service and there was only one but it didn’t take long. I was there Monday and Tuesday and their restaurant was closed. I checked out before I could experience their family style service.

The property was clean and comfortable. The rooms were equipped with modern furniture and amenities. We absolutely loved the view of Diamond Head from our balcony, especially in the morning. The complementary water bottles were nice, and all of the staff we interacted with were all very friendly and accommodating. Kaimana Beach, which was a very nice family friendly beach, was a just short walk from the property. We loved that the property was off of the "main drag" but still close enough you could walk, it was nice to have a vehicle for our trip, but it definitely was not required.

Parking was somewhat limited and somewhat compact. Made it somewhat hard to find a spot especially later at night...really the only negative of the property

Location was excellent just steps away from the beach also great walking distance to all shops and stores and restaurants

It would’ve been even better if the hotel had a pool.

Property is right beside a lovely beach and the staff are extremely kind and friendly and always greet you with a smile. They were very helpful during our stay. The WiFi was good too and the room was clean.

It’s an old property. The bathrooms are in need of an upgrade and you can literally hear everything in every room around you. The bed frame is old and the slats make noise when you move an inch. It’s loud and outdated and not good value for money. I wouldn’t stay here again especially given that it’s a walk from the main area to get lunch and dinner etc. The best part of our stay was the interaction with the front desk staff, they are lovely. Whoever said this is a hidden gem likely didn’t understand what that means.
