Location can’t be beat, price for the hotel is not a good value.

The location is perfect. Close to campus and the town.

The bathroom of my room was dirty and falling apart. Hardware coming the wall, tub dirty and stopped up with surrounding walls and paint crumbling. And an old, cheap shower curtain. The bathrooms need a facelift. The duvet on one bed had faded blood stains and other dirt on it and there was no housekeeping provided during the stay.

City center stay

Excellent staff breakfast facility location. Business and leisure with local family. Moving to Lafayette next 24 months. Site visits, county engineers, realtors, church, mapping, etc. room and Breakfast were excellent. Two small mechanical glitches. Informed operations for minor maintenance fixes. Breakfast was outstanding. Invited family too. Very friendly, courteous, professional staff. Never missed a thing. High value amenities, nothing missing as far as convenience, great downtown locale, night view of the extremely attractive city center. We will be back Labor day. Bravo! Well gone.

Very nice location. The staff was very nice, and accomodating.

Pool listed on the website as an amenity,but has closed. The restaurant is also closed , they have a breakfast buffet available. They charge 3.00 for a coffee and 15 dollars for the food which was not in any means amazing. The room was fairly clean, but I did feel it best to wear flip flops in the shower.

Beds were very comfortable and room was clean.

The bathroom layout was awkward and the door was really sticky and grose. You had to walk all the way in, close the door, to get to the toilet. We had to pay double price due to Purdue graduation.

Good hotel directly down town

Nice Hotel in the city center of Lafayette and close to restaurants in Main Street. Bus stop to Purdue University also in walking distance. Free parking!

Windows in our familly room (2 queen sized beds) were fixed and impossible to open to get some fresh air into the room.

great time on the visit and supportive staff.

Breakfast was great - but all the kids were disappointed there were no waffles or pancakes. The staff was OK with a family group congrating and talking in the very large lobby, which was excellent support for our family event that had taken place and we were mostly at the hotel which allowed us more time together. Your morning waitress in the dining room was lovely, more than helpful and sooo nice. Great person for the job!!

Bad experience - bathroom facilities did not work and staff was unapologetic

Room and location were ok, not terrific, but reasonable for the price. The facility looked a little run down.

We checked in late and had to leave early in the morning. The bath tub had paint peeling off. Both the bath tub and wash basin were clogged, and did not drain. Additionally, the shower knob did not work well, water kept coming out of the faucet and only a weak stream came from the shower. So each of us took a very long time taking a bath (there were 3 of us in a King Suite). All the while, the bath kept filling up because it would not drain. The worst part was not the facilities, but the attitude of the staff. As we were checking out, we informed the front desk that we did not have a good stay and that they should fix these issues before renting the room out again. The lady at the counter (her name was Faith) just said ok, but did not write down anything or express any sympathy/ regret. Seeing that she was not going to do anything to note this down, I asked if I could write down a complaint so they can recognize and fix the issues. She said she was unaware of any way to make a complaint. When we spoke to the supervisor, he did not express any regret at the bad experience either, and could not tell us where we could provide feedback. He was unable to provide any website, name, or address of the management. After 5 minutes of waiting, we were given a phone number (no name of person or management company). This is my third bad experience with Holiday Inn properties, and honestly, I will stay away from this brand in the future.

Couldn’t find our reservation at check in We booked 2 queen beds. We received 1 king 4 travelers they brought a roll away bed. They said we booked a FLOW room. Not sure what that means. No hot water before check out. Towel holder fell off the wall. Bathroom shower had no shower curtain it was a waking in shower - very odd paint peeling. Saw mold. Not acceptable at all!

Overall it was a poor experience. Location to Purdue was the only positive experience.

The location of the property was good. We had a car so it was not difficult to navigate. However its not in walking distance .

The room was having a musty odour throughout our stay. The rooms and bathrooms are not cleaned everyday. The showers were very messy with water leaking through into the bathroom walking area making it wet with no drainage to drain the water.

Dirty hotel.

Beds were clean.

The carpet in the room was wet when we got there outside of the bathroom. The toilet wouldn't stop flushing without messing with the handle. The bath tub switch to got between the tub and shower couldn't be moved, and the floor was dirty and the pool was dirty and grimy.

Front desk lack knowledge for checking in / I reserved for 2 rooms and 2 nights, she insisted I had reserved one room only,courses our family waited in lobby over one hour more , and I have to communicate with booking.com . finally she found out my another reservation, made me very angry. night shift front desk guy cheating customer for sale water bottle ( he didn’t refill water bottle in vending machine but sold the water bottle keep in front desk , each bottle expressive one dollar more ), the fact happened on me , because I paid $3 dollars bought 5 bottles, turn around saw him refill vending machine, that he said to me the price $1 dollar less.

Location is good and entrance is very appealing. The room was quiet and located very near a good workout room. Staff was very nice and friendly.

The pool was green. Our bathroom was dirty. The elevator was dirty. The ice machine (only located on specified floors) wasn't working. Breakfast was not great, but the service was.

Shower was disgusting -- dripping, cracked, dirty and rusted. I've never showered in a more gross bathroom... even in the military or college! What's worse is the Holiday Inn knows the showers are terrible... and have been since the remodel a few years ago!
