Fantastic clean place in a great neighbourhood

The property is great - a nice, modern, clean space in a great location. Check in was easy, hosts were friendly and helpful, the space is comfortable, the shower is great. Large refrigerator. TV was nice for watching Netflix and other apps.

Location was excellent, very quiet and comfortable with everything you needed in the house, just like home. Restaurants, cafes, bank, Supermarket, liquor store all 5 minutes walk, even a 24hr Bakery.

I have nothing bad to say about my stay here.

Great for a week in Vancouver

The house was clean and welcoming. Quiet area. Close to a 24/24 bakery (delicious) and many restaurants. You have everything you need to cook, clean and do your washing. A/C is a bliss in summer ! Not too far from the city center (although the bus is never on time !)

Bed is a bit too soft and pillow too thick for my liking. It's a bit too dark inside.

Top quality facilities and great location for us. Easy 15min access to downtown but with the opportunity to connect with a local community. Plenty of good quality food outlets within 3-10 min walk. Great communication with our host and the bed was very comfortable.

Great stay

Clean and well maintained. Close to bus stops and 20 minutes walk to Skytrain station. Shirley was very helpful and has good communication. There is near by bakery with good coffee as well.

Cosy quiet modern unit in good location.

Nice modern unit in good location just off Main Street but quiet. Easy to get around although we used Uber quite a bit for convenience. Close to Queen Elizabeth Park with numerous shops and eateries close at hand on Main Street. We really enjoyed Seasons in the Park at QEP for the great view and great food and service.

A wondeful place that felt like a home away from home

The Main Street coach house was the perfect place for my stay in Vancouver. It had everything needed to feel like a home away from home with wonderful touches throughout the property including luxurious towels and bedding, a fully equipped kitchen and ample closet space. Shirley was such a wonderful hostess and met me upon arrival to explain how everything worked which was appreciated. She also went out of her way to introduce me to a business contact whose services were needed as part of my visit to Vancouver. The location is also fantastic with a 24 hour bakery around the corner and excellent dining and shopping options all along Main Street. I've stayed in various places in Vancouver and I would say the Main Street coach house is the best placed I've booked.

Some inconveniences, host not accommodating

Nice modern apartment

Very inconvenient that you cannot leave at the house your luggage if your arrive early or leaving after checkout. Couples will have to pay an extra $50-$100 to leave their luggage in a random store insecurely behind the counter. They call them "lockers" in Vancouver, a joke. With a hotel you don't have this headache. The host also did not allow us to do late checkout, even when she confirmed there were no guests coming the same day, very inflexible. The cleaning fee the host charges is excessive, that's what it costs me to clean my entire house 3 times larger in Toronto.

Bright, clean, great location

The location was awesome, it was bright and very clean, and it was very well-equipped with complimentary coffee, tea, and some basic cooking ingredients (oil, salt, pepper, sugar, etc.). The hosts were very nice and informative, and the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet given that it's close to a busy street.

More comfortable places to lounge would be nice. The couch was pretty small and didn't have anywhere to put your feet up, and besides that, it was just the bed or the kitchen table (the kitchen table chairs weren't very comfortable though).

Great alternative to downtown for visiting Vancouver

This is a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and amenities, and it's very safe. The coach house is like a well appointed studio apartment which is very quiet.

The only thing I can think to suggest is adding a floor lamp near the couch so at night there is a softer light source available.

We had a great stay with Shirley and Al. They are great hosts and their property was amazing. The location was perfect for us as it was close to many restaurants and the bus to downtown. The location has a great local vibe being away from the city. We were able to use a nearby storage (600 mts away) to store our luggage as we had a late flight.

Location is in a great, friendly neighborhood, walking distance to a lot of things we wanted to do, such as Bloedel Conservatory, Elizabeth Park, the Aquatic Center, interesting shops and several restaurants we wanted to try. They had it well stocked with most things you might need. Even though close to a busy commercial street, you can hardly hear anything outside. And there's a great farmer's market on Saturday very close by.

Lighting was a little harsh, could use dimmers in the living room and especially the bedroom ceiling lights

Great place and location and friendly hosts

The House was really clean, well organized and is in a great location. Shirley and Al were very friendly when we arrived and gave us a warm welcome as well as a tour around along with recommendations for places to go and eat.

Highly recommend, great stay

From the moment we arrived, it was wonderful. Our host, Shirley, was so kind, friendly and welcoming. She recommended where to go to eat, public transport etc. She left us a bottle of wine, as we were on our honeymoon. Location was fantastic, so close to public transport, nice cafes,restaurants and bars on our street, also very close to queen Elizabeth Park, which was lovely! Spotlessly clean, had everything you could imagine and more. Have highly recommended to family and friends already Can't say good enough things about it!

Eccellente appartamento, comodo anche per negozi e mezzi pubblici

Appartamento splendido, molto moderno: elettrodomestici super, ogni confort. Letto comodo e vicinissimo a ottima panetteria per colazione e panini, supermercato con cibi da asporto, fermata del bus verso il centro e altre zone di interesse. Shirley, la proprietaria, si è prodigata tantissimo in spiegazioni e consigli, sempre molto validi, che hanno reso il soggiorno migliore. Facile da raggiungere con bus comodo dalla metro in arrivo dall'aeroporto internazionale.

Sarebbe utile mettere a disposizione una coperta.

La guest house était très propre et très fonctionnelle, il y avait tout ce qu’il faut. Les propriétaires étaient supers gentils. La guest house est très bien placée. Pas loin il y a plein d’endroits pour se restaurer ou même faire des petites courses. Je recommande cet endroit !

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich toll und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Haus lag richtig schön in einer Nabenstraße Seemann st und war Fußläufig zu vielen Restaurants erreichbar. Eine Bushaltestelle war auch nur drei Gehminuten entfernt. Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Betten waren relativ weich, aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Es war alles einwandfrei.
