Heritage Home in Heart of City with free Parking

It's was very close to everything, very convenient and good value for money. The host was very responsive.

There were areas that were not that clean. Skirting boards, floors were dusty. There was also a smell throughout the first floor that didn't go. It smelt like it was coming from the toilet or pipes. It wasn't very pleasant

There was lots of appliances; water filter, toaster, big TV in living room. Bed’s were comfortable, AC and fans in all the rooms, hangers in the closet, enough towels and toilet paper for the duration of our stay. The owners were very communicative, they replied fast to any message/ question. Good value for money specially with the amount of bedrooms it has, spacious. Nice and spacious outdoor area. Good location. Seems nice for a family exploring Vancouver.

There was a very strong unpleasant smell throughout the whole house, even after attempting to air it out by having the back door and windows open. The house didn’t seem that clean. It was quite cold specially in the upstairs bedrooms.

Only one bathroom

There was a nice balcony out back.

It was challenging to figure out the lockbox. The rooms were hot and those upstairs didn't have properly set up air conditioners - we bought duct tape to make sure they worked properly. The electrical system is questionable - lots of missing outlets but more so, whether it's up to code. The fire escape plan that was posted didnt include the 2 loft bedrooms which again made us wonder about the overall safety of the establishment. The photos online camouflage beat up walls, etc. There is only one bathroom which is problematic w a place with 4 bedrooms, to accomodate 8 people.
