We visited Vancouver with our cousins, 8 total. Very eclectic in decor. While my son loves the fish tanks and praise the owner for maintaining the quality tanks, I feel the tanks in the bedrooms made the room tight and slightly musty. The house has 1.5 bath. The shower pressure is great, but the curtains can be a pain. Very confusing with the two shower heads . I hope we didn’t splatter water behind the tub. Kitchen has good variety of utensils and tools. We do recommend a big pot for group. Excellent washer and dryer. It’s not the Hilton, the house and furnishings are old. but it feels Midwest living and very close to downtown. Need more instruction and better layout for recycling. Bring cash if you visit Chinatown.

The house was exactly as advertised. We loved staying in a loved family home where our kids got to help water the plants and feed the fish. Darius and Laura were so responsive and provided us with excellent info about the house’s amenities. We enjoyed some of their recommended restaurants during our stay and loved the walk to the park and Commercial Drive where there were tons of shops, groceries, pharmacies and restaurants. The neighbors were friendly and gave their own recommendations of places to explore. We stayed during a warm weekend so we did need to run the window air conditioning at night but they worked to keep everyone comfortable. Would definitely reach out to stay again on another trip to Vancouver.

A most enjoyable stay. The family loved the home and the location. Short walk to fresh pastries Kitchen had everything we needed Effortless weekend away.. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend.
