Fine if all you need is a bed for the night.

Friendly greeter, amenable to our late check-in, which was well after Thanksgiving dinner.

Terribly bright parking lot lights - no blackout curtains. Used a tarp we had in the car.

Better than I thought!

I liked that it was close to freeway exits and had a taco truck parked in back. I liked the clerks attitude super funny too! I liked that I didn't need to post a deposit for my stay and that the rooms are very clean but could use a little refresh. What u see in web pics is exactly how it is. Oh n down the hall from our room we're drink n snack vending machines that work! . I was too tired to take pictures but what u see is what u get just Google it!

The toilet took forever to flush is pretty much it. Oh and no breakfast included but there's vending machines! Size could be bigger but it fit the 4 of us just fine.

It was clean other than, what appeared, to be blood on a faceplate in the bathroom. It served our purpose on our trip.

Nice room but very poor customer service.

The rooms were very clean, large & comfortable. The location was close to everything.

No coffee or tea in the room. No continental breakfast just a dry pastry in plastic wrap. The people working there must be poorly paid because they weren’t helpful or happy, just very gruff. Cheap coffee in the lobby after 7:30.

Basic hotel, clean and convenient

The location was great for my work trip. Easy access to the freeway and everything I needed. There is a couple of restaurants in walking distance. The rooms were basic and older with some visible repair work and it was clean quiet and quite a busy “stop over hotel” for people traveling.

I had some problems with my key’s demagnetizing, which as a single female traveler made me feel a little nervous. The general property location is right next to the freeway so there was some noise. It’s a very basic hotel but the price was great for the area during my stay.

Did not have any breakfast but appreciate the coffee and hot water. We liked our room at the rear of the 3rd floor! Kitchenette was a nice surprise.

Very quiet good location

We had no breakfast ..we like the location.

Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows we hard not good for back of the neck.toilet made an awful noise after flushing, the hand towel smelled wasn't washed correctly ,floor by bath tub was separating water damage ,safety flip lock hinge screws we're coming out.

Great place to sleep!

The room was spacious and very comfortable, making it a great place to both relax and work. It was always kept clean, and I even had the bonus of an extra area with a couch and table—perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The Wi-Fi did not work as I expected, so I had to rely on my phone connection. However, overall I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Berkeley.

Location. Close to some shops and fast foods, walking distance from the train station, 5 min drive from Target. Mini bar in the room. There is free coffee and some danish pastries in the morning.

Good value for an hotel in the SF area. It has nothing special but it was clean and fairly comfortable. It was quiet and had a small fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable as well. Free parking.

Good overall stay, with good freeway access and conveniences nearby………..access

Clean and safe, good location.

Bathroom light comes on with exhaust fan only. Cannot turn on the bathroom light without the noisy exhaust fan also being on. Face and large bath towels were of low quality, and not fluffy and absorbent. Vinyl flooring throughout…carpet in the bedroom area would have felt warmer and cozier.

Everything about the hotel itself was fine, nice staff, clean hotel, clean room, pretty quiet except for some construction nearby, well-provisioned, spacious, comfortable.

The neighborhood is pretty sketchy, it was good to be walkable from the BART station but... it's also walkable from the BART station which causes issues in most parts of the bay. Can't be helped.

Unexpected

I thought the inside was nice and clean. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is a good location near the highway, places to eat and shop.

They need to work on upgrading the outside of the hotel. It is Not presentable, and it is not inviting. When I first arrived, I wanted to cancel, but I could not. Thankful the inside was much better.

I had a broken microwave and room phone. When I asked to be changed to another room I was told no and that he would bring another microwave. The microwave he brought was old and dirty. The heater was also broken and made really bad noises when I turned it on.

Friendly staff, lot of bending machines for snacks.

The smell, when we got there there was a strong smell in the hallway and in the bedroom we booked. We opened the windows and that eventually got rid of the smell in our room. Also, the bed was not too confortable, but could have been just our personal preference.

Nice stay for the price

The Front desk staff was friendly. Our room was very clean. The place needs a slight TLC. I alerted staff of a small problem with the toilet seat, but no big deal. They were nice. Short walk to the BART station. I would stay again.

We've stayed at is hotel 3 times. The 3rd time was an ADA room. The bed & bedding was the worst.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I love that there is no carpet in the room. The room was clean. They offer coffee and prepackaged Danish & Muffins for breakfast.

I didn't like the cheap face towels, the cigarette hole in the top bed cover, stains on the mattress, and hole in the mattress cover. There was no iron in the room but we called the front desk and they brought one right away. Front desk staff gave me a plastic bag for ice but there was no ice bucket in the room.

Welcomed by Old Friends!

This is my home away from home in the East Bay. I have been a repeat customer for over half a dozen times now. The bed is comfy, the breakfast is reasonable for the hotel cost, and the room is clean, warm, and pleasant. The location is pretty safe too. I feel that Manager Sanjay is an excellent host, aways kind, helpful, and friendly. His continuing devoted, loving care of the outdoor resident cats is remarkable and rare. Josephine, Maureen, Schmoelina and her kittens, and Druscilla are all healthy and thriving as a result. Sanjay, Anita, Anita's brother-in-law, and Norma are all like old friends. I always feel more than welcome! ❤️

I arrived late, quick access to my room. It was larger and nicer than expected.

Uncomfortable

There were cute cats everywhere and I LOVED that. But the room was just meh.

The pillows were just terrible and the remote didn’t work for anything except to change volume and we couldn’t change the input. So it was stuck on hdmi which didn’t have anything plugged into it. There was no lotion provided which isn’t a huge deal but important for me personally. I would stay here again and bring my own pillow and lotion, but was this time it took me hours to fall asleep because I was so uncomfortable. Also our neighbors for the night were up yelling and partying until around 3am so that made it hard to sleep too. The walls are super thin.

Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean. Restaurants nearby. No carpet in the room was a plus! It was nice having a microwave and refrigerator in the room.

The towels need to be replaced. They provide fresh brewed coffee downstairs in the lobby but it would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room
