Good value close to everything you want to do.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Location close to Chinatown and Dodger Stadium. We loved the decor in the room. The frenchie lamps were super cute. Five minute drive to Dodger Stadium or five minute walk to the historic Old Chinatown.

Only issue was limited parking. Parking lot is small so try to get there early to have a place to park.

Location was great. Love that Chinatown cultural vibe.

The room needed vacuum and mopped and there was a wad of hair on the shower wall which ooged me out and made me think the bathroom might not have been cleaned at all.

Always a good time and comfortable stay at Royal Pagoda. Love this place!

Love everything about this place except that the parking lot and parking situation can be a bit of a pain in the butt.

If there is anything to complain about it's the small crowded parking lot that doesn't have enough spots. So it's first come first serve and try not to leave once you have a spot.

I needed a place to hole up for the night, and I got that.

I was in room 104. About the only complaint I would have it about some of the other tenants screaming outside in the parking lot at 3 in the morning.

The site has no ready access to convenience store.

Didn’t even make it into the lobby. Beware not what they say it is.

Didn’t even check in. Before getting out of the car was approached by homeless people that would not take no for an answer. No one from the hotel came out even when I was yelling got right back in the car cancelled and rebooked somewhere else. Beware of area not really safe and no security like other places in the area.

Large gap under the front door, there were no handles on the fridge/freezer ? Noise from adjoining rooms could be heard. There was no security safe in the room that was quite alarming.

Had a lovely couple of stays at the Royal Pagoda, lovely employees, great area, nice room, good experience in general!

I love the location of the motel, especially the walking distance from bakeries, shopping centers, and restaurants. The employees were also really friendly and helpful throughout the stay!

The place did have some stains on the sheets but other than that everything was okay!

Exceptional Property!

Ever since I was introduce to this motel steps away from DTla in Chinatown I became their much regular client . Staff were very friendly , considerate and caring. most esprit in present time all rooms were remodeled , it’s beautiful and clean exceptional.

Its location, generally safe and close to the stadium.

Very limited and tight parking. Not enough for everyone so if you check in late, you’re going to have to do street parking or at a garage which I would consider inconvenient. The rooms are small and no air vent for the bathroom. You can hear everything from in the road. Overall the room is pricey for the quality but you pay for the location.

It was run down. There were flies and gnats. The ice has to be given by the front desk. If you have a room on the street the wine bar across the street is loud and everyone can see you. I could smell smoke coming from the street cigarette smokers. The cable is limited. And they charge for parking.

The front desk staff was very helpful - went out of our way to give us ice and water on a very hot day, and the room was quite clean.

Our plumbing acted up a bit; leaking faucet and low water pressure in the shower, but it wasn't a big problem and we were happy with the room.

Classic era motel with unique styling

This is a classic era motor hotel with unique styling. Motel is clean enough and offers parking for a small fee. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Room was comfortable enough and has everything you need but does show wear. We stayed here when attending a Dodgers game. It is walking distance to free shuttle to stadium at Union Station. Close to Chinatown and some good diners (Nick's Cafe and Phillipe the Original) which both have good food and lots of fans before games.
