About this house rental
This traditional 6 bedroom Girondine-style house is situated in a small village overlooking a 13th Century Church. Nestled within the rolling vineyards of the Bordeaux region, it is a wine lovers’ paradise: a short (10-15 min) drive from the stunning Medieval town of St Emilion and surrounded by a tempting array of satellite appellations.
Perfect for families with children big and small, the property offers a 12 x 5m heated swimming pool, an expansive garden with private fields beyond, a large trampoline, badminton equipment, table tennis and a substantial wooden play structure complete with swings, slide and tower. Indoors, the house boasts a roomy play area with table football and a variety of toys and games to suit all ages. Note – there is a small river running through the bottom of the garden.
The house covers close to 400m2 of living space, including 6 spacious bedrooms (2 with en suite bathrooms), a reception room, study, dining room, open-plan kitchen/informal dining area (overlooking the children’s play area), third bathroom with shower, laundry room and downstairs WC. On one side, the kitchen leads onto a veranda with table and chairs set within a lovely courtyard. On another, a separate set of double glass doors takes you to a paved terrace looking out onto the garden and complete with outdoor seating – ideal for an early evening aperitif.
All shops and amenities available within a 5km radius.
Bordeaux is less than an hour away as is Bergerac.

We had a wonderful week at Isabelle's beautiful villa/house in the middle of Bordeaux / Bergerac countryside and vineyards The property is beautiful and extremely well equipped with so much space inside and out to relax and for kids to play, including BBQ area, terraces, play areas and trampoline - not to mention the amazing swimming pool where we spent most of our time! Both host and housekeeper nearby were really helpful and gave us lots of information on places to visit nearby including St Etienne which we highly recommend. We would definitely love to come back! Perfect for a large group of family/friends. Thanks so much.

We had 10 days at this beautiful house, the rest of our family joined us for a week. With two families and 3 children the selection of bedrooms gave us the perfect space.
The master bedroom suite is stunning and a spacious dressing room off one of the double rooms was the perfect space for a cot, all the beds are really comfortable. My only observation is that the bath is in need of a new plug and shower unit, there are some super noisy floor boards by the master bedroom… it is an old house!
Neither of those minor issues remotely impacted our wonderful time at this beautiful house.
Even though the weather was unsettled we spent hours down in the fantastic pool area, a beautiful warm pool in a gated safe space away from the house.
The children also loved the huge selection of toys and games, also so much for the garden.
Isabelle was the perfect host and Caroline could not have been more kind and helpful in making sure we had a perfect stay.
A great place which we hope to re visit.

This mansion offers everything anyone could wish for. Spacious, large bedrooms, comfortable bathrooms and outdoors like a park. Lovely swimming pool with sun beds and a lunching area (at least, that’s how we used it. Every one of our group (including the kids) had a wonderful week, no exceptions. Contact with the owner was swift and pleasant, and the property manager Caroline is a gem.
We hope to be back some other time, but meanwhile we recommend this property to anyone who wants to have an excellent French experience. Many thanks.

The place was amazing, we went with 2 other families 6 adults 6 kids under 5. Loads of games, toys, trampoline and climbing frame to keep the kids entertained. Lovely spaces for adults and the pool was brilliant. Looking to book again next year. Thank you for a great week.
