We fell in love with this charming old stone house...

In this village house in Saint Martin de Gurson, about 100 meters from our home, there used to be a pharmacy. It dates back to the 1800s... now we’re putting our own stamp on it...

The white gable contrasts beautifully with the light blue shutters. It’s a surprising house. It’s much bigger than it looks from the outside!

We’ve preserved the authentic original features, such as the old doors and wooden floors, but since we also love modern decor, we’ve blended them with lots of white and stylish design elements.

In total, there are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a library, a pool table room, a living room with a large fireplace, an open kitchen, and a huge covered barn and enclosed garden spanning 1,000 m².

The village house is available for rent only as a whole and can accommodate one or two families. It can sleep up to 12 people. Ideal for a unique getaway in a beautiful setting; Towels and bed linens are included, as are gas, water, firewood, and other utilities, as well as a cleaning service on Saturdays.

The interior of the house covers approximately 200 m².

Outside, there are various interesting spots, all with views of the medieval church. There is a fairly small winter garden with lots of flowers that is connected via the open barn to the secure garden, which spans over 1,000 m² and features a heated pool and hot tub—fenced and equipped with a child safety alarm!

The interior is a blend of old and new.

Downstairs

The entryway features beautiful old tile flooring. To the left, it leads to a small library with a fireplace.

To the right, you enter a room with a pool table—a game that’s fun for all ages.

The stairs lead to the first floor, where you’ll find all the bedrooms.

If you continue, you’ll enter the large living room and open dining area, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a large table and a view of the garden. (A dishwasher and washing machine are available.)

In all our vacation rentals and homes, we provide made-up beds upon arrival, bath towels, kitchen towels, everything you need for children of all ages as well as babies—including cribs, high chairs, changing pads, potty chairs, and toilet step stools, etc.—and all kinds of toys for every age group... All-inclusive, including the cost of gas, water, and firewood, as well as use of the hot tub and the swimming pool (heated :-)... The final cleaning fee is €120; Electricity and heating oil (for heating only) are billed separately at the end of your stay based on usage (at cost). The security deposit is €500 per rental. This can be transferred in advance or paid in cash upon arrival and will be refunded to your account after our final cleaning.
