About this house rental
It is on located the borders of Bordelais and Périgord, in an exceptional 15-hectare park. This family property dating back to the 18th century has been tastefully renovated. There is a large private pool (6x13 m), secured with automatic roller shutter. Ii is an ideal place for a holiday with family or friends. It offers large spaces (from 15 to 35 sq.m bedrooms), with refined decoration, new bedding. Sheets are provided on a rental basis. A detailed description of the sleeping arrangement can be provided on request. You can enjoy many leisure and cultural activities: Visits to the vineyards of Saint-Emilion, shows and lights, Castillon-la-Bataille 3 km away, the historical sites of Périgord (Sarlat, Castelnau, Domme, Lascaux, Gouffre de Padirac, and much more), gourmet circuits, concerts, animal parks, and leisure centres. Open in May 2015, an 18-hole golf course (Saint-Emilion) is 15 min away on foot from the house. It is 45 km away from the Bordeaux and Bergerac airports. Optionally, we can arrange 12 additional sleeping spaces (7 bedrooms). See conditions with the owner.

We were with a group of 15 university friends from way back and we thoroughly enjoyed Thiery's accommodation. It was so well equipped that each of each could sleep in a separate bed and even so that the heavy snorers had a room to themselves. Thiery's tips on where to find the supermarket, baker, good but reasonably priced restaurants were very useful. And Myriam was an excllent host upon reception. We used the house to plan several day trips in about an hours drive distance. And it was great to relax at the pool, open fire or bbq upon return at the end of the day.

Private, quiet, unpretentious but lots of history around the property. We spent most of our time alternating between the lovely pool and the cool of the house. Big family meals and parties. Although there were 20 of us the house rarely seems full. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week with a group of 24 friends. The communication with the owner Thierry was very easy. We especially enjoyed the big garden and great swimmingpool. Soms parts of the house are a bit old, but since we stayed most of the time outside, this wasnt a big deal. Would definitely recommend to other groups!

We were 5 couples from Denmark staying for a long weekend / the area - the house - the whole setup and of course the weather and people who were there , made this weekend the best weekend ever. The picture does not show the house perfect as it was, the pool was big and clean , the surroundings and close to saint Emilion was sublime - Thierry helped us to get a wine tour close to the house by a friend - was so nice- and we arranged it so we did not check out early - great service and friendly people. Thanks again and see you again for sure
