    No breakfast. Close to Space Needle.

    Our stay was so terrible it was laughable. From the shampoo by the bathroom sink and no hand soap to hand cream in the shower, or the fact that our room wasn't ready until 45 minutes after check-in time is only the beginning of the list of how terrible our stay was. Our stay was the worst we've had in Seattle. The only good point is that the beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. The staff were kind, yet didn't appear to care that we were very unimpressed with their customer service, and the rooms were horrible. We asked for two rooms, side by side, as we're travelling as a family; one room was ready on time, the other still needed to be turned over. Rather than moving us to another set, they said we either needed to be separated or wait. Long after check-in time, four trips to the front desk and much pestering, we finally got our rooms. The shower head was so low that even my 5 ft 4 in father couldn't get the top of his head wet without crouching down; my 6ft 2 husband had to kneel, and hardly fit, so had to keep the door open while showering. One of our rooms had water pressure so hard it left red marks and physically hurt to be under the water; the other was hardly a dribble. One morning we ran out of hot water, which should never happen in a hotel. The lights are on a timer and motion sensor, so even if you flip the switch to enter the room, the lights don't turn on until you walk inside. The bathroom lights turned off every two minutes, so even with a quick shower, you're in the dark, or waving your arm wildly outside the door to reactivate the lights. This comedy of errors continues, but suffice it to say, I would never stay here again and would never recommend this hotel.

    Great location, cheap on site parking (USD15/day). Towels and bedding were clean. Hotel is really old and in need of updating. Room smelled musty and no way of getting rid of smell, not sure if A/C actually works or just a fan. Sound penetration thru the floors is unbelievable: kids jumping on the floor above felt like the ceiling is going to crush on top of you. Beds are NOT comfortable, but bearable. Safe didn't lock, Staff is trying their best to keep this place from falling further into disrepair, but the odds are greatly against them.

    Stayed for 2 nights and the hotel was by the Space Needle and close to downtown which was very nice for its price. Hotel is very old and you can see it with the rooms. My room didn’t come with water and amenities like toothbrushes, toothpastes and etc. Staff wasn’t that welcoming. The hotel is good for its location, that’s all 1.54/5!
