Panorama Mountain Resort - Horsethief Lodge with Fairmont Creek

Proximity to ski hill. Very clean. Very quiet. Almost everything you could ask for.

Beds were a little uncomfortable and squeaky. Have stayed in places with a few more amenities such as tin foil. Oil. Shampoo.

What breakfast?

Master bedroom bed was too high and too firm (uncomfortable) I slept downstairs or in the bunkbed. Livingroom couches and chair were too soft.. Difficult too get up.

-nice walking trails around us and trails to the Grey Wolf golf course. -had the creek and river running close to our building -scenery was beautiful -under ground garage -was quiet being that the ski hill was shut down for the season. -there was a coffee shop open at the top -there was a convenient store but was closed at 6pm and closed on Sunday -our studio was cozy and the queen size bed was very comfortable -outside our front door we had little gofers running in and out of their holes which were entertaining.

-the restaurants were shut down which was disappointing. It would have been nice to have been told that they had been shut done since April 15th. So we ended up going down to Invermere to have supper that one night. -when we arrived we had issues getting into our room with the code number they had given us. We called the phone number on our reservation form and a lady helped us by giving us a new code number. She was at times hard to understand due to her accent but grateful for her assistance. -the ceiling light globes had not been cleaned for a while as there were dead bugs in them -we went to use the patio table and lifted it away from the corner and two of the legs fell off and the chairs had no cover over them from the weather elements so we had to wash them down before we could use them. -the gondola and the lifts were shut down. We were hoping to ride the lift to the top of the ski hill and take pictures. -for someone who may have mobility issues, the cement stairs going up from the garage to the top level can be trying with lugging up your luggage and personal belongs.

It was very hot, hard to sleep. No ventilation for cooking. Only three beds for three adults and two children ages 9 and 14 hence poor value.
