Country Cottage B&B

Breakfast was excellent, host was very personable, The outdoor seating area was awesome it was covered so even if it rained you could still be outside. As soon as you went out the back gate you could connect with a walking trail and a beautiful nature area, we saw deer, quail and woodpeckers. There was also a chicken coop with 2 chickens who were entertaining. Would highly recommend this B & B.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The room was exceptionally clean, cozy, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful details. The backyard was spacious and peaceful, and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet, beautiful, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. Communication was smooth from the moment we booked until we checked out, and they made us feel right at home. Breakfast was another highlight. It was not only delicious but also beautifully presented with great attention to detail.

Ease of access to everything. Parking. Breakfast. Access to lots of kitchen items. Apartment space feel. Home atmosphere.

Lack of air conditioning/fan.

The location was great for the event we were attending in town. The suite was adequate and relatively clean with a nice backyard/view.

This accommodation is not ideal for light sleepers. We could clearly hear heavy footsteps overhead until after 10pm and starting up again at about 6am, which made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. There was also a computer monitor in the bedroom that we couldn't find an off button, so I had to hang a towel over it. We also found the suite became uncomfortably hot overnight. During our July stay in the Okanagan, nighttime temps were still 20*C, and the air conditioning in the home was turned off prior to midnight. Thankfully I packed a fan and had to retrieve it from our vehicle in the middle of the night to make it a little more comfortable. The breakfast was continental and adequate. The info sheet claims that the husband is a 'chef' at a local pub/grill, which led us to believe we would receive a more involved warm breakfast (as other B&B's we've stayed at.
