The staff were lovely, especially the cleaning staff.
And the room was very comfortable and kept in great condition.
We were staying on the 18th floor which used a specific bank of elevators and there was time that only 1 of the 4 was working. This made for incredibly long and inconvenient waits for elevators. We actually started walking down to the 12th floor to use the opposite bamk of elevators because it was quicker than waiting for an empty elevator.

Location! Location! Location! Best ever. You are hit with a welcoming scent and great music w friendly staff willing to assist. Breakfast and a bar with a gift shop. Restaurants everywhere. 15 min from GCT and a blink of an eye from Broadway. Far enough to avoid the noise but close enough to get in the heart of NYC.
The room wasn’t complete. The carpet wasn’t cut to size properly. The holes cut out for the sprinkler system were covered. I felt someone could spy on me. I had to climb a chair and tuck washcloths in them to feel comfortable. Very tiny room but adequate for my needs. Very comfortable bed and pillows. AC was working. The scent of the available soap was not pleasant but a small complaint. No fridge to store food. No microwave.
