This is the third year we have stayed at the hotel. We will continue to visit.

Only one washing machine for entire building and it was broken. The staff said the part was ordered but they were not sure when it would arrive and they suggested we go to the laundromat up in Fort Walton, but we would have to Uber back and forth so we had to wash some things by hand.

We always stay here whenever we come down to this day. It is like our second home until we find a beach house here it is the perfect location with access to the beach. The food is absolutely amazing and the location is awesome.

I would say that this time on our stay, it was a little bit noisier and less comfortable. I believe we were either right above the restaurant or next-door to someone that sounded like they were always moving furniture. There’s also an air conditioning unit that sounds like an ongoing vacuum All day and night. We still enjoyed our stay there were just a few things that were not. It’s up to par as our last visit but overall good.

The location to the beach was nice. Easy access to the chair and umbrella rentals. The rooms were clean.

Checking in the front desk staff weren’t very friendly. I also asked specifically if my card would be charged for anything and was told no. Only if there is damage to the room. The next morning we had additional $150 charge. I asked the same women who checked us in and she replied, it a temporary hold. After telling her she said nothing would be charged. She said that there’s always a $150 hold until we check out. I didn’t like to be lied to. I wish there was room service. I know that’s not a big deal, but we were on an anniversary trip and some mornings we slept in and relaxed. Wish room service was offered. Essentially since they don’t offer a continental breakfast. You have Togo to the restaurant and order. If I’m really picky the bathroom could have been a bit more sanitized. The boards around the flooring were covered in dust and dirt.

The hotel was super chill. The beach view was awesome.

The Beal House Fort Beach hotel is so beachy! I love how it looks. Sean at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. He even called to make sure I got extra towels. He texted us the next day to see how we liked it. The hotel is right on the beach. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but we got Starbucks coffee every morning. I'd tell my family and friends to stay there. I'd totally stay there again when I go back to Fort Walton Beach.

There needs to be mats at the door way (inside or outside) and going out to the patio (inside or outside). There was too much "grit" on our feet. We also had housekeeping to come in our first day and to sweep the entire room. Nothing had been cleaned underneath the chair in the room.

I didn't like the $1600 I spent and 300 miles I traveled to stay four nights just to have a view of a parking lot...it says beachfront I'm expecting to have an Ocean view I noticed there were a few people who arrived after me who had a beach view I think I should have had an Ocean view.....but whatever other than that everything else was wonderful....if I would have known before I spent the money there would be no beach view I would have booked somewhere else for cheaper to view a parking lot and walls!!!!

We had to pay additional for parking on top of a high room rate. We had cockroaches in the room, they did spray after I let them know. Food was just ok, and they don’t mention the whole island is under construction to build a new bridge and the traffic is HORRIBLE. Will not go back

My husband and I were pleased with this Hotel. It's very attractive. The room was very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping came daily. You are literally a couple minutes from the beach. Our room was a true beachfront.

For the price, the hotel should offer a free continental breakfast. We dined at the onsite restaurant "Remedy" four times while there and was very pleased with the food options and the prices were reasonable, however, I have stayed in less expensive hotels that are comparable that offer complimentary breakfast. The hotel's WiFi is unreliable. I use the WiFi a lot while vacationing and my laptop kept disconnecting from,the hotel's WiFi or giving an error, "Out of Range," yet, I was sitting in my hotel room. I surmise the bandwidth needs to be increased or the service upgraded. I ended up using my phone's hotspot my entire stay. Again, this should not be an issue considering the nightly rates for this hotel.
