Both rooms were clean with attractive decor and modern fixtures in the bathroom. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. It was quiet. The location is close to a a depanneur and several restaurants. Taxi service to the ferry was responsive and affordable. The kitchen was a designer's dream with tons of space and all modern appliances.

The exterior of the property is in need of paint and looks neglected and the furniture on the porch was dirty with many cobwebs -- so I was worried about what would we would find inside. But inside is very well maintained. When I booked I got the mistaken impression that we were booking a two-bedroom suite but it was actually two rooms on different floors. Fortunately our grandchildren were old enough to be on their own overnight. Also, one of our rooms was in the basement which I didn't understand from the listing and this would have been useful to know.

Location to the ferry to Quebec City was great, though it is a steep walk in parts (up and down) but there is a bus going by only a few steps away - your choice. You land to the east of the lower old town - perfect start for your trip. Lots of space in the king suite on the top floor and the view of the Frontenac Hotel. Full kitchen on middle floor to share and small appliances in the room. There is a massive bathtub for European “showers”. And an interesting arrangement of king bed. A Cafe is open most days across the street, a new Mexican and an established Vietnamese restaurant across the street. Even the large Metro isn’t too far for a longer walk

Stairs are steep to top floor and be careful if you are tall on side slanted walls. I didn’t find instructions for emergencies.

Nice bathroom and balcony.

Couldn't get into our room.When we arrived the cleaner let us into the room. The lock was defective. Nobody could help with that.We went out and had to leave the balcony door unlocked or we wouldn't be able to get back in. Our room was unsecured. No cups for coffee or water. The shower overflowed into the bathroom because the drain was plugged. I had to use all the towels to clean up the water. My wife couldn't have a shower. Poor communication from the property manager.
