    I would suggest more transparency from the vendor in relation to the onsite restaurant menu and cost of meals. Example: Breakfast buffet was listed at $25. Host said if the buffet was selected, this needed to be paid prior to the customer starting their meal. Three buffet meals were ordered. When I went to pay, the total was $95.04. 3 x $25 = $75. That means tax and fees was $19.04. When I asked for an itemized copy of the bill and an explanation, kitchen fee and tips were included. The sales tax at 4.712% was not mentioned ($3.53). The “fees”. = about 25%. The other comment is about the parking fee per hour. I would suggest that the cost be posted somewhere. It’s $14/hour. If the overnight parking is $40-50, I would have paid the overnight parking fee as opposed to 4 x $14 = $56 + tax. Again, transparency.

    Excellent location very, very close to the airport. Excellent service from friendly staff. Good, clean, but tired room - the whole facility looks and feels dated, and is in need of a refresh. Excellent breakfast.

    There are 2 issues to remember here. firstly it is 48 dollars a day to park your car so expensive if you are staying a number of days. Secondly when yo purchase breakfast this gives you a voucher which entitles you to a doggy bag this must be taken away and eaten out of the restaurant. The wonderful; buffet will cost you an additional 34 dollars. Hence the buffet was always empty. This i feel is a bit misleading and wrong. Apart from those 2 issues no problem with the hotel.

    Convenient airport stay with accessibility, but overpriced for the quality I stayed at the Airport Honolulu Hotel after a cruise, mainly for convenience before a flight. The location is excellent, very close to the airport, and the shuttle service runs hourly and is wheelchair accessible, which was a big plus. Check-in was smooth, and staff were helpful. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags and return later without any issues. From an accessibility perspective, the front entrance is easy to access. However, the accessible room was located in a separate building, quite a distance from reception, requiring travel through a long hallway, across a car park, and into another building. Entry points required key card access and were on slight ramps without flat landings, which made it challenging when navigating independently in a wheelchair. The room itself was functional and reasonably well set up: - Good grab rails and a fold-down shower seat - Easy access to shower controls - Toilet was accessible and well positioned However, some design elements could be improved: - Soap and shampoo were placed too far away from the seated position - Soap dish in the shower was not reachable The pool lift for disabled access was out of order during and clearly had been for some time. In terms of quality, the beds were comfortable, but the hotel is quite dated. While it appeared clean, the older decor gives it a less fresh feel. Noise from the nearby freeway is noticeable, so opening windows is not ideal and the A/C was very noisy. Pricing is on the higher side for what is offered. At around $225 USD per night plus $44 USD per night for parking, it feels expensive for the overall standard of the hotel. Overall: A practical option for a short overnight stay due to its proximity to the airport and accessibility features, but less suitable for longer stays or those seeking better value for money.
