    Clean property with decent amenities and a great location on Waikiki. Staff were amazing and the level of service was fantastic

    Design forward hotel in the middle of Waikiki. Very comfortable and fun vibes throughout the property. They have a simple but fun pool in the middle of the property, a hip restaurant, good coffee bar and stylish boutique store on site. Perfect for young solo travelers or couples that appreciate a cool design aesthetic. While not right on the beach, the location is great within Waikiki and the beach is easily accessible, just a couple blocks away. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again for sure. The price was great and its one of the only hotels that doesn't hit you with a silly resort charge on top of the nightly room rate. Their rate for parking a car is also one of the most reasonible in Waikiki. Overall, I only have good things to say about this hotel and highly recommend it.

    I live on Maui and needed a dog-friendly place on short notice so I could bring my little chihuahua to the emergency vet for surgery the day before Christmas. I selected Surfjack due its convenient location in Waikiki and a recommendation from a mainland colleague who says this is his favorite place to stay in Honolulu. Although this was not the lowest cost pet alternative, I found the staff to be very welcoming, the mini-suite room to be very comfortable and the amenities outstanding. It felt like a mini-vacation for me while I waited for my pet to undergo repair of four broken bones in his tiny foot. My second night there was Christmas Eve and the staff hosted a wonderful complimentary event for guests—live music, cookie and gingerbread decorating, eggnog and champagne. How fun for someone like me who had to be away from home for Christmas. I plan to come back sometime for a mini staycation with my wife and both our dogs. Highly recommended!

    I need to travel to Honolulu semi regularly for business purposes. I have a number of heavy and awkward items that I have to handle alone and need parking at the hotel. I called the Hotel to confirm the parking, which they did confirm that they and had parking, the parking fee and height restriction. What they did not say is that the parking is 4 blocks away, not at the hotel. If this had been disclosed, I would have chosen a different hotel. The onsite restaurant was advertised to be great, however, my experience was greasy processed fried food. On the positive side the hotel was very clean and staff were pleasant. If you do not need to eat or park a vehicle, it might be a good fit for your needs.
