What did I think of the breakfast???? What breakfast?
Overall, the room itself was OK, kinda cramped but about what we expected. Bed was fine, no problem there. Bathroom and shower were also decent. The big bonus was the space where all guests could gather - it was excellent!! I loved the huge book collection - even some good science fiction books (though only about 8 or 9 of them, out of what must have been a couple thousand books). The partly finished picture puzzle was a nice touch. I quite liked the background music (classical) also. The ground were also very nice, including the big red camellia bush/tree right outside our door (see attached pic).
We wanted to eat some yoghurt and berries for our breakfast, but forgot that there are absolutely no utensils at all. Tried to eat it using a coffee stirring stick, which was not very successful. I get it that you want to limit guests to just coffee/tea, but it shouldn't be a huge ask for you to put out some inexpensive (plastic is fine) utensils also, for folks who want to bring in a bit of food for themselves.

So peaceful and well maintained. Loved the books and sitting room, and Steve the cat 🐈
A nice touch would be to offer a light continental breakfast.
