Over the top cuteness, details, happy surprises (enough food to have choices on what to prepare for dinner/breakfast). Bouquets of flowers! Many!
Blind hill at top of busy road making for tricky pull-out.

Our self-serve breakfast was very good, delicious home-baked bread, well stocked fridge with juice, milk, cream, butter, homemade jams, cheese, fruit. The kitchen was well equiped and in good working order. The house was very clean and nicely appointed, very good bed linens and towels. Our host was welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to visit and restaurant recommendations.

Location was perfect. Central . Easy access to all the Island.
Full Facility. easy to cook up a good breakfast for a long day of exploring
Owner greeted us with a delicious home made loaf of bread
The living area could have been a little more comfortable for evening board and card games
The yard was a little unkept and we did not take advantage . The potential was there .
A little too close to the main road. Lots of traffic , But driveway was gated.
No place to dispose of garbage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thistle Dew Cottage. It's a charming place, with homey rooms, a well-appointed (small) kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a location convenient to the town of Ganges and beyond. Pauline has a true gift for hospitality, helpfully answering questions about restaurants and other sites on Salt Spring, sharing local stories, and providing delicious home-made muffins, breads, and other good things for breakfast. Quite a treat to stay there!
