By public transit, it was a fantastic location to both the ski resort and into the Jamtalhutte. Easily walkable everywhere, bus, dinner, huts. The host was absolutely the sweetest and was the reason our stay was exceptional. If you want Ischgl without all the loud party and price tag, or a good nights rest before heading into an alpine hut, and a real feel of Austria, this is the place.
