Great location close to everything, the lady in the front office was very welcoming and sweet.

The only issue we had was our own fault; we could not figure out the thermostat. I believe it was set and ready togo but we pushed something that caused the fan to come on and make it cold but again that was user error and we figured it out the morning we were leaving.

Great getaway for the four day weekend. Very relaxing.

The pool was heated. Free DVD loaner movies. Two bedrooms with a pull-out couch. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We would have liked to stay longer, but had to get back home. Not their fault. Wifi is weak and open, no password. Please don't use it for banking or shopping.

Great location, very comfortable and spacious, wonderful place to stay in Palm Springs!

Our two bedroom apartment (1 king room and one twin bed room) was very large, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for the simple cooking that I did for the three days we were there. The condo buildings are separated from each other, so it was very quiet at night. The laundry facilities, pool area and the grounds were all clean and well-kept. We had covered parking, so our car didn't get hot, and it is very conveniently located close to the Palm Springs Aerial Tram (which was great!), the cacti botanical garden, and ice cream shop a block away. We really enjoyed the resident hummingbirds as well as the road runner bird that hung out near the ice machine! Since we stayed for three days, the price we paid was very reasonable for such a large place with a lot of amenities.

It would have been helpful if the front office was open after 5:00 because we would have liked to take out bikes for an evening, but couldn't after 4:30. However, the office staff were very helpful when they were there!

A home away from home!

Felt like our own apartment… had everything to cook and make tea and coffee. Was super clean and had 2 balconies (apartment for 4-6 persons). We just loved it here. In the morning and throughout the day you could hear the birdies… otherwise quiet. We would love to stay here again some day, when in PS.

Room/villa size was good. Nice and spacious kitchen area with everything you need. We liked the location too. Internet was working good in our room.

Room could have been cleaner (there was leftover water in the tub in one of the bathrooms and other little things). There was a lot of room furniture outside in the covered parking, not sure what that was about... We arrived at 5:10pm on a Saturday and front office was closed at 5pm.

I would definitely use the facility again.

We didn't use the pool. We walked by it numerous times. Usually we don't see anyone at hotel pools. This one always had someone there. Probably a good sign. The office staff was very good. The free coffee in the lobby was very good. Plenty of parking The location was convenient to everything. Good security locks on the sliders and window. Plenty of towels for our stay. We did not have to ask for extras.

All and all the following is minor, but this review asked for something I didn't like. This is all I could come up with. The light switches. Where there was a switch in one room there was a switch plate cover so you had to walk into the dark room to find the lamp. I think that was the lamp where the on/off switch was under the shade just under the bulb. Too much fumbling to get to the switch. Some of lamps in other rooms the switch was on the base of the lamp plus the other bedroom and living room did have a switch that would turn on a lamp plugged into a switched outlet. The bathroom switches were more 'modern' but not as convenient as a simple up/down toggle. I have relatives who are electrical contractors. They would never wire a house or apartment this way.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work made several calls problem never solved. Asked for extra blankets on Friday didn’t get them until Saturday. The beds were very uncomfortable. They put us in a unit with wet carpet

Good place for a weeklong stay

This was our 2nd weeklong stay at the villas. We like the spaciousness and full kitchen. The facility is dated but we'll maintained. The location is great for access to the entire PS area.

Servicing of the room didn't occur as stated but was done promptly after we requested it.

Cozy friendly 2 bedroom reasonably priced in the Las Palmas area with a great pool

Desert Villas is located in a fabulous area of Palm Springs. The place needs to be updated but the rooms are enormous and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The pool is great with a mountain view. Place grows on you .Would definitely return.

The second bathroom is small and shower is hard to navigate. The gym is off site.

Clean, the condo feel was great for our family!

The towel situation was hard. They gave us enough towels for the pool, but didn’t replenish. The office is only open until 5 and I felt like I was bothering when I asked to get new towels.

The location and proximity to downtown Palm Springs was great.

The property is very dated, with some clear maintenance that could improve the overall feel. The reception hours on the weekend were limited for anyone going out and about, which meant we weren’t able to get some items we could have used (extra blankets since what was provided as bedding was minimal) because we were out hiking all day and during their hours on the weekend

Hot pool (89 degrees) and hot tub (106 degrees). Great during this current cold weather.

The location was close to desired attractions.

The bed needed a new mattress. When I got in the bed, the springs squeaked. The sink was not clean. It had toothpaste and hair from the previous guest. Blood was on the towel from the previous guest. Softener needed to be used on the towel. They were old and rough.

Pool was heated, nice but small. There were misters in the pool lounge area. Living room was spacious.

The eating area was too small, not enough dish towels and maid did not bring some even after she was told. Bathrooms were tiny. The unit smelled old and unclean. Tabletops were not wiped down. Kitchen utensils were in bad shape. Staff not friendly.
