This hotel is probably in the best location of any we saw - amazing views from the second story out over the sound, across the road from the grocery store and less than 10 minutes walk to all the "downtown" restaurants. The main road isn't very busy so it wasn't loud at night. Check in and check out was easy and quick. The room was so big with the bathroom around the corner from the bedroom for even better privacy. We liked having kitchen facilities, a table, a couch, and a big bed.
The oven in our room had a sign saying it was broken so we couldn't use it. It was a bit of a shame because we would have liked to use it. The mattress felt cheap and hard but I didn't mind it too much. If you're someone who likes a soft bed you might want to reconsider staying here. The room itself felt a bit dated and "budget", the walls were peeling and damaged in places, the lino on the floor was really squeaky and moved as we walked, and the smoke detecter was hanging from the roof by a thread (literally!).

Check in was quick and easy and you can't beat the location.
I'm a very early riser so waiting til 8 for coffee anywhere, was something I wasn't prepared for but I figured out an alternative

The location
Although we checked in with later, we still arrived during regular check in hours. The staff did not seem pleased about our late arrival even when it was communicated prior.
