Lake-Vu Motel

The rooms are well appointed. There are the standard toiletries (shampoo, conditioner) but then there was a full size bar of soap and even individual an prepackaged toothbrush, disposable slippers. The towels were decoratively rolled on the bed. Internet kept up with my work needs. Restaurant in the gas station was convenient (but closes early). The convenience store is also a fried chicken shop so if the restaurant is closed, that's still an option. It is basic, but it's affordable and effective if you need somewhere to sleep and maybe work on the your laptop.

The most important thing to know is that the motel is run out of the gas station. You can't check in after the station closes or check out before it opens in the morning. There's no overnight staff. You're on your own.

The room we had was very clean, you could tell that they took pride in their business. The coffee in the room was very good. The staff was very friendly.

Nothing

No breakfast as time was limited. Friendly accommadating and helpful. Would stay again.

The lock on the main door to units of four was broken. The lock on our unit was broken unable to lock from outside and not able to open. Staff came and finally after many trys were able to open but apologized for the problem. We could bolt lock inside bit leaving could not lock door and advised staff/management that door was lock was damaged.

Quiet. Good value.

Room had a bit of a musty odor.
