Very clean and modern room with beautiful surroundings and pleasant staff

Booked a lake view room but the windows were little dirty. Room was clean. Staff was nice as well. Probably the most expensive one in Kenora so expected everything good.

We booked with a travel company online. Booked for a king room when got to hotel they said no we booked for a queen which was not the case and would not change our room to what we booked without paying. Which I had already paid for on the travel app.
6.8 / 10Average·Aug 2026
The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel was fairly clean. We had seen pictures of a pool when researching the hotel, so we were disappointed to learn there wasn’t one. Upon investigation we learned that usually the hotel gives passes to the pool next door, but this was not offered to us as that pool was closed for summer maintenance. Also no restaurant or any option of breakfast of any kind. The rooms are a decent size, but the bathroom was small. The stand up shower had an extremely slippery floor, so we ended up using a towel on the floor of the shower to prevent slipping. There is almost no counter space at all in the bathroom. The hotel is not worth the price paid.
