This was very short notice that we needed a place. With the cost of all the additional fees Airbnb takes, it would have been too expensive to book something through a platform. This was affordable for us but I expected a totally different motel on the budget we were on. I was totally surprised to see a renovated modern motel. Beautiful king beds that are super soft. Walk in showers with modern features. There’s an outdoor lounge area. It’s pet friendly and also great for kids as you get free mini golf with your stay-it’s right across the street from the paradise mini golf & fun park. Staff were very friendly and accommodating as well—totally exceeded my expectations. I don’t normally write reviews but this fab find in Parksville deserves the attn.

Located walking distance to everything, price was great and exceeded our expectations. Nice upgrades. Nice staff. We would for sure book again here.

Free access to mini golf next door. Short walk to the beach.
Floor was dirty, no cooking pans or pots with lids in the kitchen, near noisy road, curtain didn’t close completely.
