Good value and location, great facility

The location was great, only a few blocks from a really nice walk through a water front park. At the same time it was a block from the main street of Port Hardy. Also, it was completely outfitted with a microwave and a stove and everything you needed to cook there. The living room had a nice balcony off and DVDs and a DVD player.

Perfect spot to start an adventure! Super friendly owner, great location right in town and fully stocked kitchen. Bonus of a car charger for our electric truck.

Of the few places in port Hardy this one is easily the one that gets you the most value for money

Downtown in port Hardy close to everything there is there. Comfortable bed Everything was just fine nothing bad but neither that great. However considering the remoteness of the town and the options for places to stay, its great a place like this exist here.

Excellent value for an overnight stay when taking the ferry.

Clean and quiet. Friendly helpful staff. The ferry was delayed and they accommodated my very late check-in. The manager, Anne, was kind and welcoming and helped me with my bags.

Rest day in northern Vancouver island.

Quiet, clean, first floor, convenient bike storage. Nice bathroom with shower (down the hall). Great hall on second floor with kitchen. Large hall plenty of room. Arriving late on ferry, mgr waited for me and got me into the hostel.

There are no downsides.

Brilliant place to stop after arriving by summer schedule ferry. Frendly and welcomming staff.

Room was clean, and fresh. Lovely common area and kitchen space. Nice big, clean, and comprehensive washroom (bathfoom / shower).

Room was very tight, just about managed to get in. I don't usually use hostles so can't compare except the Queen room we hade before was nearly 2x the size, so was expecting a bigger room. Perhaps advertising the sq foot size may have helped??

Enjoyed my stay!

Stayed there one night before starting a kayaking trip. The facility is basic but it’s clean and comfortable. The owners are super nice, going out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Walking distance to grocery store, coffee shops etc.

Late check out at 1am as we arrived by ferry from prince rupert Hostel was clean and the common areas such as lounge and kitchen were very spacious
