Booked for one night and ended up checking out after less than an hour!! Upon arrival, the property smelled strongly of urine. Should have turned away then but we decided to be optimistic… Opened the door to our room to find several unfinished, unpainted drywall/crack fill patches. I had read some reviews about the facility undergoing renovations so we initially chalked it up to that. Unfortunately, the more we walked around the room, the worse it got. The room was extremely hot and humid, and the only source of air circulation was a small window AC unit that was well overdue being replaced as it was loud and visibly dirty and rusty (both from outside and inside the room), which didn’t do much to cool the room. The microwave was also dirty on the inside, and there was a large build up of black mildew, dirt, and grime in the corners of the bathroom floor. We also found a dirty sock, lots of debris which looked like either mouse droppings or dead bugs (unsure which as we did not want to get too close). The cherry on top was sharing the space with an endless army of black ants! We didn’t dare to pull back the sheets to check the cleanliness, but I’m sure it was on par with the rest of the room. Thankfully we were able to get a refund and rebook at another hotel a half hour away. (I do have photos and video but they will not upload)

We were travelling for sports and we did not have a credit card for booking and they were willing to accept a cash/debit deposit for the night with no issues. Breakfast was great, rooms were comfortable and clean and staff was very helpful and friendly whenever needed!
