    Okay, this place was NOT what I expected… and I mean that in the best possible way! 😂 If you like a little vintage ’80s motel charm, drive-up rooms, and zero pretentiousness, this place is a vibe. The rooms are basic, but CLEAN—which honestly is half the battle. 😂 And the staff? 10/10. Super helpful, friendly, and quick to jump in whenever we needed anything. But the real surprise was Julia’s Lounge! 🎶 The live music was fantastic, the staff were awesome, and the whole place had the best little kitchen-party-meets-local-hangout energy. We went in not knowing anyone and somehow left having met a bunch of fun people. That’s a win in my books! Then there’s Rudy’s Kebab. 👏 We had the shawarma plate and wings and… CHEF’S KISS. 🤌 Absolutely delicious. Come hungry! Somewhere along the way we ended up dancing in the rain AND dancing in the lounge, so clearly the weekend took on a life of its own. 😂🌧️💃 Honestly, the weekend far exceeded my expectations. Good food, great music, friendly people, and plenty of laughs. Sometimes the places you least expect end up being the most fun. Would absolutely come back! ❤️

    I’m not that familiar with Truro but for the price of this I would just skip Truro. The room smelt like stale cigarettes covered up by air freshener and stayed that way the whole time.

    Needs some TLC. Old and tired. A good cleaning between guests using the room would help. Floors were dirty, sheets were old and stained, cigarette ash was in the bathroom.
