Green Acres Inn

It was convenient for one night .

The grounds were beautiful, pool was clean and lovely.

Nothing.

We travelled for the first time with our 1 year old, an had an absolutely lovely time. We ended up arriving in Kingston a lot earlier than we had planned, so we called ahead in the morning and were able to get into our room early since they had the space. We lucked in with perfect weather to take advantage of the pool, and had a blast with the swing and slides which really helped tucker her out. The room itself was great, not huge but plenty of room for crawling around and playing. The playpen we brought for bedtime fit perfectly at the end of the room by the washroom door, and happened to be next to the AC unit which means we had a fantastic built in white noise machine. Baby slept perfectly all through the night :) We were able to get an extra hour before we had to check out to accommodate a morning nap, which made the day so much more pleasant for us :P Oh and the wireless charging stand by the bed was such an awesome touch!

The end tables in the room were incredibly wobbly and had a thick slab of glass on top, which would likely be great for preventing water marks but also a massive concern when a newly mobile tot is present. As it is a venue that caters to families (pool, and play structures), it would be nice to have an interior that is a bit less of a hazard in that regard. It was an easy fix though, we just put the glass sheets on one of the shelves in the kitchenette and it was fine. But if we hadn't have noticed them before she accidentally toppled one of the tables it could have been terrible.
