La Fattoria di Tirrenia

Super location, we had a pet dog with us and we could take here for long walks in the surrounding forests

The pool was great! It was a nice size & not crazy deep. There was a fun playground to keep the children entertained. Breakfast was good, as well as suppers. The staff were very friendly & helpful.

We enjoyed everything, the only thing that comes to mind is, we had to ask for toilet paper. It would have been nice if there were 4 rolls stocked in the washroom since we were there for 5 or 6 days. It wasn't a big deal though, they were accommodating when we asked.

1.) Very secured parking 2.) Strong WiFi Signal 3.) Cleanliness 4.) Offer to enjoy the facilities, even after check-out 5.) Friendliness of the staff. 6.) Good air-conditioning (especially very helpful in summer)

1.) Kitchen was not well equipped and maintained. Freezer wasn't defrosted at all. 2.) Check-in is only until 08:00 PM possible 3.) Location is remote from any restaurants (but this is expected already).

The area is beautiful, in the countryside so very little traffic and the gardens and grounds are well looked after. The staff in the restaurant were also lovely, friendly and attentive. We had some issues with the workings of the apartment but these were resolved a soon as they could be which was appreciated. There was always loungers and umbrellas available at the pool for the whole family and the outside gym and toilet facility was kept clean and tidy. We liked having the ping pong table and hammocks outside.

The apartment is pretty basic, and in need of some modernisation, some things did not work and had to get replaced and eventually we were moved. The kitchenette does not have an oven, toaster etc and only butter knives so impossible to cut bread or prepare meals which is necessary if self catering. The onsite restaurant is only open at weekends and the nearest restaurants for during the week are not within walking distance in the heat. The seating area provided for meals outside is not directly connected to the accommodation which meant we couldnt really enjoy sitting outside to eat without bringing bags of food and utensils etc up and down stairs. The pool was warm water (which some might prefer) and too shallow to dive into which was disappointing for my young son.
