Our stay at Montagu Springs booked through Agoda was unfortunately disappointing due to several issues.
We experienced multiple power outages — from 3:00am to 8:00am, and again from 9:30am until check-out — leaving us without electricity for extended periods. This caused major inconvenience, including having to buy coffee offsite as we were unable to prepare any at the property.
More seriously, my mother could not use her sleep apnea machine due to the lack of electricity, which raised significant health concerns.
In addition, the DStv package was not functioning properly, and there were visible maintenance issues such as cracked tiles.
These problems had a substantial negative impact on our stay and should be addressed as a matter of urgency.
