The guesthouse is in an idyllic setting on the edge of Montagu. An easy walk into the town to a great choice and range of restaurants and bars (be careful to check closing times)
Everything at the guest house was perfect, clean and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed just sitting on the patio with a glass of wine and whiling away the time.

Pam and Ant were the best hosts. They gave us valuable recommendations and cared about the well-being of their guests. The scenery with the pond and the surrounding mountains is marvelous and we felt very safe throughout our stay.

Fantastic, the best stay of our trip, but sadly only for one night! We absolutely loved it from start to finish. The owners are lovely people as are their staff and they made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. A carafe of wine on arrival sat in the sunshine, overlooking the olive grove, what more could one ask for! The hiking was great for us in the area and if you stay, we recommend booking beforehand to eat at 22 Church Street, its popular but fabulous -best meal of our trip as was the breakfast in the guesthouse. We will stay again when we next visit South Africa. Safe to walk around day and night and there is a bird hide on the way into town with so many Sacred Ibis. Wonderful.
