Town Plaza, Unit 256

Really loved the location and the kind staff; front desk was super helpful with giving us advice about navigating to activities in Whistler. The hot tub was just finished its renos when we got there and we had a really lovely time trying it out. It was super relaxing! The bedrooms were so cozy and the TV & couch setup was really wonderful to come back to after hiking. Having access to the kitchen was so helpful when we didn't want to eat out.

There were really fat flies around the unit (3-4) that we could not get rid of. Also wish there was one or two extra blankets around. We were worried about using the stove because the burners kept releasing smoke when we turned them on despite wiping them down; they stopped after a few minutes but since there's no stove fan we had to set up the standing fan from the second bedroom in the kitchen to be safe.

The accommodation is right in the village center, with shops and restaurants nearby. The Whistler Gondola is about an 8-minute walk away. The place is large enough for 6 people. The staff responded quickly to messages. We had an incident with a chair, and they did not charge extra for it.

When we were ready to check out, I noticed that under the bed was super dirty :(

The apartment itself was lovely and comfortable. A bit dated but nice. During the day it was nice to sit on the deck.

We were in Bear Lodge suite 209 which unfortunately is right across from a nightclub. From 9:30pm till 3am every night you get overly excessive crowd noise - screaming - from patrons coming and going. No chamce of any sleep even with earplugs. After 3 sleepmess nights we couldn't leave quick enough. Would never recommend to stay there.
