Hotel et Motel Le Chateauguay

It was clean and I liked the pool and spa. Nice to have a seating area on the second floor also.

Breakfast is only served from 8 to 10. That's way too late when you need to leave early. Locking the door of the lobby and being questioned why I went outside and why I don't have the key when me and my partner only had one. It was weird. The mattress was not comfortable at all and the AC was off when we walked in so it was very hot in the room. Always thought closing the pool at 10 is early. Especially on vacation and when it's so hot outside.

Out of all the motels I've been to, this is the nicest one !! I was actually blown away when I walked in. It was a good size room. It looked up to date. It was clean. The beds were comfy. There was a pool which was a bonus. The staff were really nice! I would come back to this location again.

The only thing I would comment on is the low water pressure for the shower.

The location from the city & nature place.. The staff especially Don the receptionist. Very helpful...

No coffee maker , no shower stuff like shampoo & soap. The room is outside the main building, has to pass outside to enter for swimming pool & spa inconvenient especially during winter time..

The bed and room and bathroom were all fine. The people working the front desk were all very helpful and friendly. I have nothing negative to say about the motel itself.

It could just be timing and maybe it is not like this every night, but for the one night I was there, there were quite a few loud people who spent most of the evening and morning talking far more loudly than necessary outside the rooms. There were also a few people running their cars for a long time which was noisy and not great for breathing. Adding to the local air quality problem, if you are a non-smoker, this may not be the place for you. There was almost never not somebody smoking outside the rooms. They also seemed to take joy in smoking directly next to the No Smoking signs. Again, the motel itself, as well as the staff, were good.
