    Rooms need serious renovation

First off, the staff at this hotel are top notch. Very accommodating and friendly. We got a free upgrade. That being said, we were put in a room that had walls and ceiling full of stains. Very questionable as to what those fluids would be, but it ran about 5 feet down the walls. We were able to get an upgrade, but already we were skeptical of this hotel. Our room was clean, but you couldn't help see that this hotel was in dire need of updating. Poor ventilation in the washroom (no fan for showers) and the grout had gaping holes that was certainly infiltrating to the downstairs. The pool area has a portion that is closed off due to to it being broken and the whirlpool had all but one jet working . The railings that are used to get in and out of the pool and hot tub are unsafe as they need to be re-anchored into the ground. There are uneven and sharp stones that you have to be careful of. This hotel is beautiful and is located near everything that you would want, but unfortunately I cannot give a higher rating as this place needs to be urgently renovated. I don't think you can title yourself as "ambassador" if you do not put effort in keeping it to a higher standard.
