    My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chateau Lacombe Hotel! From the front desk to housekeeping and everyone behind the scenes, the service was exceptional from start to finish. A very special shoutout to Anna at the Concierge Lounge, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care truly made a lasting impression. The breathtaking views of the River Valley were worth every penny, and the hotel’s unbeatable location made exploring Edmonton so convenient. With outstanding hospitality, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Chateau Lacombe Hotel has become our go-to hotel whenever we’re in Edmonton. Simply the best—we can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

    This hotel is easy to get to from the airport. The desk staff & valet were efficient & helpful.

    We stayed there for two nights, upgraded at check in form Concierge King to Executive Suite for *** per night (with taxes). The difference is noticeable going from Regular floors to Concierge floor and then to the suite floors. The evening wine/beer/drinks are two per registered guest in a room and they have one or two hot snacks that are fine- and some cheese, but nothing crazy. The breakfast is hit or miss because sometimes they are understaffed and you are redirected to the Cafe Lacombe which has a full breakfast buffet whereas the Lounge has muffins, fruit and coffee- of which we stick to the coffee. The Chateau also definitely has a sort of clientele that blurs the lines because it's lowest rates are often *** or lower it's a preferable option to staying in a motel outside the city- but it also brings in a more rowdy crowd. The biggest advantage I'd say of the hotel though is its location as it's very conveniently located and in a 10-20 casual minute walking distance of a lot of the cities attractions which was lovely on a summers day. Overall the hotel was worth while at the price point we got it, unsure if we would do the upgrade again as while it was a significant amount of room it also is just more square footage, and presumably slightly newer furniture.
